The kiss only lasted for few seconds, it was only an innocent peck, but it shared every painful emotions Haneul felt towards him, her tears fell on him on the process.

She stepped back, pushing Taehyung off her, causing him to stumble backwards.

Two hearts were beating fast.

She showed a pained expression,  alcohol made her sensitive more than she already was.

"I love you, Tae.. more than a friend" she sobbed.

Taehyung was surprised, not knowing what do. But instead of getting upset for her kissing him with out any permission, he felt guilty towards his bestfriend for not pushing her away to stop her when he had a chance. She is drunk and she doesn't know what she's doing. He should have done something, however, part of him didn't want to, he was drown into her eyes and on the next second, he found himself kissing his own bestfriend, he actually liked the kiss, even he was supposed to be not.

He felt guilty for lying and technically cheating on his girlfriend. Kissing other girl already considered as cheating. And Taehyung didn't like that, he really loves his girlfriend.

Haneul bit her lips hard and sat down on the staircase, crossing her arms and leaning to a wall next to her.

Taehyung sighed, he honestly doesn't know how he was supposed to approach his bestfriend, it was clear that he has hurt her, even Jiwon warned not to. But unknowingly, he did.

"Leave me alone" Haneul spoke as she closed her eyes. Tears continuously streaming down her cheek.

"Haneul" he called fsoftly, Haneul responded him with her hiccups, He took a deep breath, as he sat down beside her, pulling her to lean against his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her. Giving a comforting hug.

"Always remember that-" he paused, thinking a right words to say.

"I'll be there when you need someone to cry on, That's what bestfriends are for, Haneul-ah--" Taehyung spoke timidly, it was the only comforting words he came up with. But he was unsure of his own words. Was he truly been there for her these days?

"---But I can't be the prince you've wished for"

"But how can I cry on you when you're the reason of my tears?" She questioned, seriousness in her tone despite the fact that she is still drunk, but perhaps the alcohol's effect on her was slowly wearing off.

"Why are you making me this way?"

"I'm sorry, I only sees you as my sister"

"Sorry can't heal everything, but It's my fault for loving a person who was supposed to be a bestfriend" she took a deep breath as she snuggled closer, closing her eyes.

"Let's just talk about it, when you're actually knows what you're talking about" Tae sighed, giving up the topic. He is unsure that she would be remembering their conversation next day.

Haneul didn't respond so Tae spared a glance on her face, only to find out that she has fallen asleep. He stared at her, with a mixed feeling. How could he fix this without causing a crack on their friendship. Is this a reason why his bestfriend was distant to him lately? Many questions ran across his mind. He was confused on what he should do.

Sighing, he stepped down, bending his knees, pulling Haneul's arm around his neck. She responded by wrapping her arms around his neck tightly. she mumbled in her sleep, seems to be in a deep slumber, he slipped his hand below her joint. He took a deep breath, trying to gain some strengths. And he lifted her up, giving her a piggy back ride. He stood there for a second to maintain his balance so that both of them won't fall down to the ground. He sighed in relief as his bestfriend was secured on his back.

He slowly and carefully went down.
And walked heading Haneul's home. With many things running across his mind.

A figure watched them from behind, a phone in his hand. He captured a picture, proof that Kim Taehyung and Lee Haneul are together at the moment.

He was the one who sent the picture to Taehyung's girlfriend.

He approached Haneul out of sudden, because of someone told him to. His intention was to distract Haneul from seeing Taehyung.

It was coincidence that he saw the two at this building, where his apartment is. but without thinking he took a picture of them and directly sent into Kang Eunbi.

But he didn't expect the next scene, he witnessed the two kiss, but what he felt was unexpected, a jealousy.
On the previous weeks they hanged out together, Haneul somehow made a way into his heart. Even he was in a denial.

She told him to do it, and because he liked her, he did what she asked him to do.

But right now he's confused, asking a same question haunting his mind on past few weeks, is he doing the right thing? Is he going to prove to Park Jimin that he is indeed a play boy?
He played with several girls which is not related to his school to protect his clean reputation. But Jimin turns out to be a cousin of the one of the girls he has played. Jimin didn't cared much at first until Haneul was involved to him.

"Jeon Jungkook, if you going to do something to hurt her, I won't hesitate to send you to a hospital" Jimin's threatening voice rang inside his mind.

"Haneul..." he mumbled, he has seen how much the girl adores Taehyung. If it would direct on him, how would it feel? How does it feels to receive her love? He was close to falling for her, and he's not naive to deny the obvious feelings he felt. He knew he was falling for Haneul. But he was scared to love someone else aside from her.

He took a deep breath giving a final glance to a two, then he walked back towards his apartment. Ignoring the guilt he felt.

I really want to curse my writing skill so bad. It's cringy af.  I don't think I expressed the character's feelings in a best possible way. 😅

I'm not sure If I could update this week due to power interruption. I need to save my phone battery.
