“ELIZABETH MARY HENDERSON” My English teacher roared out my full name.
“Yes, Mrs. Goblin” I said keeping a straight face, as the class started snickering and trying to control their laughter
“First of all my name is Mrs. Gibson!” She took a deep breath trying to calm herself before shouting again bur I cut her off
“But Mrs. Goblin, suits you so much better since you resemble a goblin” She did resemble a goblin in a way with her afro hair and bright green eye shadow which had definitely affected my eyesight, her eyebrows had this weird arched shape and her nose was so crooked I always had the urge to straighten it, she might not be a goblin but I was sure of the fact that she can’t be a human.
“Ugh, you dirty, rotten piece of child haven’t your parents taught some decency and manners” She snarled again.
“Oh my, Mrs. Goblin hasn’t anyone taught you that you shouldn’t be so harsh toward your students” I faked shocked.
She sighed, trying to control her anger and I know she was about to say go to the principal’s office “Go to the principal-” I cut her off again by saying “Ya ya. I’m going” As I made my way towards to see the principal or should I say my dad. I never liked him and he nev-, let’s just say the feelings were mutual. He was ‘very disappointed’ in me. I didn’t care though and why should I? Why should I have to be the one who pleases everyone? Or the one who makes everyone happy? I had tried and failed miserably. I sighed at the thought of the old memories which were trying to slip through my mind.
“Can I come in?” I asked, knocking on the principal’s door, I never thought of him as my dad but he never treated me like his daughter, so we were even right?
“Come in” Mr. Henderson said sternly. I quickly stepped in closing the door behind me, when I realized we weren’t alone, there was a student sitting in one of the chairs he didn’t look familiar. Whoever he was, I couldn’t deny myself from thinking how hot this guy was. I was basically gawking at him as I sat in the chair next to him.
He cleared his throat, obviously thinking that I was checking him out…well I kind of was. I quickly averted my eyes to Mr. Henderson, who was giving me his usual glare.
“Well, you know why I’m here” I sighed. I showed up in his office, pretty much every day.
“I’m tired of telling you to grow up, when are going forget the past and move on Elizabeth?” I think he forgot that he was a principal and there was someone else in his office other than me.
I sighed once again before getting up to leave; I wasn’t going to listen to the same blabber that I already knew because he said the same thing again and again. It was kind of getting old and I was getting tired.
“Where do you think you going?” He shouted.
“Back to class” I said without looking behind.
“Stop!” He shouted again, as I was turning the knob handle to get out of here. I dropped my shoulders and finally looked back at Mr. Henderson.
“Yes, Mr. Henderson?” I asked politely as I could.
“I wanted to introduce you to the new student at this school” He said pointing his head towards the hottie. Well, I didn’t know his real name.
He stood up “Colton” that’s all he said. At least I knew his name.
He was tall and thin yet his muscle rippled underneath the tight shirt he wore. His skin was slightly tanned and he had brown messy hair that was spiked in every direction. His eyes were almost matching his hair but they had the tiniest glint of gold in it which looked at me curiously, his lips quirked into a slight smile. And damn god, for making someone as hot as him.
“You have to give him a tour around the school and make him comfortable, be nice” Mr. Henderson said grimacing slightly, probably thinking about what I would do the poor newbie. I smirked at Colton “Don’t worry Mr. Henderson I’ll take good care of him” I said not averting my eyes from Colton.
We stepped outside of the principal’s office; I already know how I was going to welcome the newbie. “What’s your schedule, newbie?” I asked. He handed me his schedule observing the school. I had a look at it and oddly it was the same as me. “How is this possible?” I mumbled to myself which he obviously heard.
“Did you say something?” He asked, tilting he gorgeous head towards me.
“No, I’m just surprised we have every class together”
“Surprised, as in good or bad?” he smirked.
“Good for me, bad for you” I said mimicking his smirk.
His smirked contrasted into a frown “What’s that supposed to mean?” Colton asked.
I leaned into him, barely an inch away and said “You’ll find out…soon, newbie” with that I leant back and sauntered away.
