"Fuck. You." Megan's eyes were fixed on Dominic's own. A white hot ball of rage building in her temple, her hands balling into fists.
"You knew this would be dirty work. Don't back down on us now." Dominic held his arms up, in an attempt to calm her while also holding a defensive stance. "It was inevitable that people would get hurt. You just have to deal with it." His own hands began to glow orange, his mouth and eyes were hard and serious. The ends of Megan's hair began to hover, while the others watched in silence around them. The close stone walls were a constant reminder of their confinement underground.
"Guys, calm down." Eleanor slowly edged towards them, and tried to get between the two. "The worst thing we can do is fight. Right now, we need to-" she was cut off as her body was thrown backwards, as megan slightly tilted her head, slamming her against the concrete. She fell to the floor, unconscious, as Ben scrambled to her side. He looked up at Megan.
"What the hell?!" He yelled.
"She was getting annoying." Megan never took her eyes off of Dominic's.
Ben rose, standing again. He took a step towards Megan, his eyes suddenly glowing a bright white, but quickly dimmed again as Dominic darted a look at him, shaking his head. "I have this, make sure she's ok." He nodded towards Eleanor's unconscious figure on the ground, as Ben dropped to his knees next to her again.
"Oh, you've got this have you? What does that mean?!" Megan shouted, the small bulb began to shake from it's hanging position, and a low rumble could be heard as her hair rose slowly, making it glide around her head like wire.
"Stop escalating Megan, just calm down." His hands glowed harsher now, embers could be seen on his finger tips.
"Or what?" She asked, her eyes wide, the smaller objects in the room began to float, lifting from their surfaces.
"Or I'll make you calm down." He replied, his voice still calm.
In that moment, something snapped in Megan's mind. She slowly lifted herself off of the ground, her feet floating off of the cold stone. She bared her teeth, and threw her arms into the air, crashing Dominic against the ceiling, before throwing her arm to the left, dragging him through the air to once again meet the concrete on the wall. He had never felt what it was like to be on the other side of Megan's abilities before. Now he knew. It was like an icy fist crashing into you, cold seeping into his body and organs, forcing him in directions. Like he was completely crippled, unable to move anything. Completely immobilized, at her mercy, as she threw him at the metal framed bunk, his back cracking against the hard iron. He was out cold.
"Anyone else?" Megan continued floating, while everyone stared at Dominic. "Good." She lowered herself to the ground again, possessing a hard glare at everyone in the room.
