Some things I hate
•It's really frustrating to see the damn double standards EVERYWHERE, especially in Latin America. One of the things I hate the most is how when a woman wears shorts or tank top, everyone calls her a "slut" "easy" and countless other shit. But a man goes shirtless to the store down the street, those same people turn a blind eye. And when woman is enjoying her sexual life she gets called the same thing. But men do it and they're hailed as "champs" and shit.
•Homophobia (I'm an ally of the LGBTQ+community)
•Xenophobia
•Racism
• Ok, this one's a whole ass knot but anyways. Changing source material or forcing something bc it's politically correct. Like, with the Little Mermaid. A good amount of people would be like stfu, but no. Changing something that a lot of people grew up with just to "be right" isn't right. And just so you know, I'm not gonna bring up the "what if Tiana was white" bs bc her skin color is a big role in the story, just like Mulan and Pocahontas' ethnicities. Also, let's remember how Jasmine is dark-skinned in the original and what did Disney do for the remake? Cast a half WHITE woman who's not even of Arabian descent (no hate to Naomi). Disney is using the gp and y'all are falling for it
Yet, in this day and age people demand representation even if it means changing a beloved character.
If Disney actually wanted representation, they would create a whole new story OR have made Ariel a black girl since the beginning. But no, they do it now that some white people care.
Y'all know Miles Morales? He has his own story, they didn't have to change him, he was already the way he is.
Also, now there's no 'representation' for little white girls with red hair. Hell, they could've made a new character, let her have her own story line, have her been friends with Ariel.
