Evies POV.
It's my first day working at a new school. I just graduated with a degree in teaching about 6 months ago. Hopefully it goes well...I know Abel's daughter Phoenix has her first day today, I'm not sure what grade she's in though. Probably 4th, but I'm teaching 3rd.
(In the story Phoe is 8 but she's super smart, Evie is 25, Abel is 28)
"Bye Pierce!"I said to Pierce. (Evie's older brother) "Bye sis, have a nice first day." He said staring at his emails. I went out the door to find my uber, I was only getting a car next week. Yes, I didn't get a car. Pierce has like 3, I would normally take one of his. But his wife Jenny had taken the cat to the vet, He had to go to work in an hour, and the housemaid was getting groceries; so I had no choice. After getting my things, I hop into my uber. Off I go to school...that sounds a lot less cool as an adult.
Phoenix's POV.
Ugh, school. Why? I want to mourn..I need to water my succulents! My Dad's taking me to school at least, the bus didn't want to cross the bridge to get over to our island. Its not ours, but i pretend it is.
Dad (Abel): "Phi-phi, do you have your backpack ready? We're going soon!"
Me: "Yeah dad, i have it."
Dad "Well come on then! I'm sure you'll do great *kisses her on cheek*
Me "Thanks dad, I'll be in the car once I grab my shoes."
Dad "Okay, see you in the car kiddo."
After we went in the car I took a power nap, why not? Finally as I awake I see the words 'Windenburg Elementary', there I was..school.
