The Test

I woke up like clockwork and i see jace right next to me.and i smile, i feel the nausea hit i rush towards the bathroom and start puking my guts
out. It's nine in the morning and I've been like this for a week now. i hear jace rush in holding my hair back and
rubbing my back. as soon as Im done puking.

"clarebear i think you should go to a mundane doctor you've been like this for a week" jace tells me. he's right

"okay ill go you wanna come with me? you know i don't like doctor's"

"of course ill go but we have to take max you know what happened last time we left him home alone"

"alright ill go wake him up"

"kay i love you my bride to be" i smile as he pulls me to him and kisses the top of my head.

i walk to go get max. its been a year since we defeated Jonathan and i couldn't be happier. me and jace are running the institute.simon and izzy got there own apartment and so did Alec and Magnus.so it's just me, jace, and max. jace and i are going to be married in a week and i cant wait! as i get max's room i open the door and rip of the covers and pull all the pillows out from under him and start hitting him with it.

"jace go away!"

"sorry to disappoint max"

"clary! what a pretty sight to wake up to"

did i mention max is now 13 and has A HUGE crush on me.

"get up max and get dressed were going to a mundie doctor"

"why"

"because jace wants me to go"

"hurry and get dressed"

"why cant i stay home alone"

"because last time me and jace let you stay home alone.you had a party and invited a bunch of faeries over!"

"oh ya that was in awesome party"

"alright ill be ready in five minutes"

"kay" i started head back to our room.

when i start to hear max singing the shower.

i laugh as i open door and jace hears me. he's in the bathroom and walks out and asks me

"hey your in a good mode what's so funny"

"max is signing in the shower"

"oh that's pure gold lets go record him signing"

"i love you"

"i love you too clarebear now lets hurry"

we raced hand in hand down the hall to max's room. he was signing star ships by Nikki manaj we recored him for a little bit until the song was over then we heard him stop and turn off the water. so we headed back to our room.

"im gonna change and brush my teeth"

"kay" jace says as he kisses me. we both pull away a minute later so i can change. he walks out to go get max.

And i grab some sweats and put my
hair in a high messy bun brush my teeth and put on some foundation and mascara. i grab my ugg's and head out. the door i see jace and max waiting car

I get in and jace kisses me and asks me

"you ready?"

"no."

"It'll be fine" he says reassuringly i hope he's right.

we reach the hospital and jace parks
