<Y/N POV>

Kookie?

Is that his nickname?... I think it's... cute ^^

"Boys! Stop talking amongst yourselves!" The teacher caught the two boys chatting.

"Alright class! I have a paired activity for you all. I'm going to hand out blank maps of the world and I'd like you to label the countries that will appear on the next slide."

 P-paired work?! I have to work with Jungkook?!

<Jungkook POV>

 The teacher scolded me and Taehyung for talking. So many embarrassing things are happening in this lesson, Y/N must think I'm ridiculous.

The teacher was announcing our first activity for the lesson and —

It's paired work.

"You must work with the person you are sat next to in your assigned seats! If the person next to you is absent, only then will I allow you to pick someone else."

Great.

Another girl had no partner. She asked the teacher of she could work with me...

<Y/N POV>

Some girl asked if she could work with Jungkook. If he says yes to her, that's it, I'll lose all hope. The teacher said if he's ok with it, they can work together.

She had a glint of hope in her eyes. I was burning with jealousy.

<Jungkook POV>

It was my choice if I wanted to work with her.

She looked quite desperate. It made me uncomfortable.

I simply looked her straight in the eyes and said "no thanks."

Boy, I didn't know I was so cold sometimes. She looked disappointed. 

<Third person POV>

The teacher came around and handed the maps. Y/N was feeling relieved since Jungkook rejected the other girl. 

'Maybe he wants to work with me...' she thought to herself.

 "Please make sure you all communicate, this is a task that requires teamwork~" the teacher told the class.

Y/N gathered all the courage she had and turned to Jungkook, who was already gazing deeply into her eyes, causing her to blush furiously. 

"I-I-uh... shall we begin?..." She stuttered, still blushing and looking down at the desk.

"Oh, uh, y-yeah..." Jungkook spoke nervously.

The two students awkwardly sat silently for a while, until, in unison, they both let out their hands to grab the sheet to place it between their desks. This caused them to look up into each other's eyes once again. Jungkook immediately took the sheet and brought it to the middle, breaking their eye contact. "Ermm... I'm not really good at naming the countries..." he told Y/N.

"O-ohh... It's okay, I can help~" Y/N smiled. Jungkook blushed at the sight of her cute smile. It caused him to smile back. 

"This is China... that's the UK..." She spoke nervously. "Is that big one Russia??" Jungkook asked, pointing at the correct country. "Yes, it is~" she smiled again.

<Y/N POV> 

This wasn't so bad. Jungkook was sweet and actually shy, as I expected. He wasn't too good at labelling the countries. "Is this Egypt?" he asked, pointing at Spain. "No, no, that's Spain, this is Egypt, it's in Africa." This made us both laugh, causing Jungkook to reveal an adorable bunny smile. I couldn't believe I was talking to my crush! I've never spoken to any guy I've liked, this is a first for me.~~
