Teddy loved Harry and The Weasleys and they were his family even if they weren't blood related. But sometimes he did miss his parents. He would really missed them when he first transformed his nose to a pig nose and his mother wasn't there to see it, when he got his acceptence letter to hogwarts, and when he started dating Victoire. He would usually ease the pain by writing letters, and, when he was really young he used to talk to baby James about the stories he's heard about his parents.
The one that really helps is when he visits their graves. It sounds depressing but really he would just sit there and talk to them about stuff. He usually likes being alone but he sometimes would make an exception for Harry, Lily, and Victoire.
