A Bad Day

TEN YEARS LATER

          Izuku woke up with a start. He looked over at his alarm clock which read 4:53 a.m. and groaned. He just couldn't fall asleep. He rolled onto his back and stared at the All Might poster on his ceiling.

          "Oh All Might" he said to himself, "Will I ever become a hero just like you? I know that I am quirkless, but." He sighed. "I want to save people with a fearless smile on my face just like you" As he lay there, staring at the face of All Might, he slowly dosed off into a light slumber.

          Midoriya woke up and stretched as his alarm went off. He got up headed downstairs. "Good morning, mom" he said sitting down to eat breakfast.

          "Good morning my little Izuku" Inko said, ruffling her son's hair. Izuku quickly ate and went to brush his teeth and take a quick shower. When he went down stairs he found a note in the table. He grabbed the note, sat down on the couch, and read it out loud. "I'm going to the grocery store and I'm going window shopping. I probably won't be home until around 5:40 p.m. tonight. Love you bunches Izuku!" He smiled as he put the note down beside him. Today is going to be a good day.

LATER THAT DAY AT SCHOOL

          "Oi, Deku! You want to be a hero!" Bakugo yelled, launching himself at Midoriya' s desk and exploding it with his quirk. "You can never be a hero, Deku, and you will never. Remember, nerd. You. Are. Useless." After that, Bakugo went back to  his desk, leaving Izuku, or Deku, trembling in his seat.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER CLASS

          Class was over, and Deku started to put his things in his backpack. As he went to grab his Hero Analysis notebook, Kacchan came and grabbed it from his desk.

          "Hhm. What's this?" he asked, looking at the notebook. "Hero Analysis for the Future? What the fuck, Deku! You are such a freak!"

        Hey! Give that back!" Izuku said, trying to grab it. After he said that, Bakugo burned it to a crisp and threw it out the window. "WHAAT!!!" Midoriya yelled, looking defeated.

          "Oi! Deku!" Bakugo said before walking out the door. "You want to be a hero?" Deku looked at him expectantly. "You can take a swan dive off the roof, and hope to have a quirk in your next life!" After that Bakugo went off laughing, while Izuku stood there, looking down.
