I woke up in mine and Mikey's room. Mikey is my twin brother. We look the same, brown hair, brown eyes, asthma, and we both love the pirate stuff. Today is one of our last days in Astoria. These rich guys want to tear our houses down to build golf courses, that's what Brand keeps tell me and Mikey. I walked downstairs in my pjs and hopped on the counter "Max! Off the counter." Mom said walking in the kitchen. I jumped down and stood there looking around the house. Mom was going to the market. Brand was sitting on the couch and I walked in with a can of soda and a bowl of chips. "Mouths here!" Brand yelled. I rolled my eyes. Mouth is the most annoying out of the Goonies. But I like him. I turned the tv on and sat on the couch. Mouth walked in. "Hey Maxie." He said "Hey mouth." I said annoyed. "Brand I'm going to my room!" I yelled and walk up the stairs. I past all the bedrooms. Then I went into mine and Mikey's room. I sat on the window seal and looked out over Astoria. I heard all the guys coming in the house. The Goonies were together for one of the last times. Then I heard mom come in and was talking to someone and mouth was with them. I looked at my room. Me and Mikey hasn't started to pack. We didn't want to. I walked to my bed and then I heard mom leaving again. So I grabbed my jacket and my inhaler and walked down the stairs. "Max you can't go outside moms orders." Brand said "UGH!" I yelled and sat on the couch. "What about all that stuff in the attic?" Mouth asked "I don't know. Give it back to the museum." Mikey said. Then Mouth started rambling. Then everyone ran to the attic door. I haven't been up here much. We wondered around and Mikey came across a map. "Look Max." He said "Chunk. Come here." Mikey yelled and handed the frame to Chunk and he broke it. We looked and it was in Spanish. Mouth came over and translated it. Soon we heard a buzzing and Mikey grabbed everything from the frame and we ran downstairs. I closed the attic door and we walked outside. It was Tory's dad. I wasn't in the mood so I walked back inside. I went and looked in the fridge for a snack and found a tub of strawberries. I washed them and then ate them. I heard the guys come in and I sat at the table. "Where's Mikey?" I asked "I don't know." Brand said and walked outside he came in Mikey was holding onto him. The guys jumped onto the counter and Brand came and turned the water on behind Mouth who happed to have said something to Brand and was sitting in the sink. I looked out the window and saw it rain. "I can not believe this is one of our last days in the goondocks." I said "We've gotta do something." I added. They just ignored me. This happened a lot when the gang was together. I just walked to my room and sat on my bed Mikey came in and grabbed his marbles. "Maxy come down stairs. We are going to get the rich stuff." Mikey said. I looked at him and I grabbed my Salem, Massachusetts sweatshirt and then walked downstairs. I was sitting on the couch and next thing I know the guys are tying brand up with his exercise thingy. I jumped off the couch and bolted outside. I hopped on my bike as did the rest of the guys.
