"Ry your a vampire. And I'm your soulmate."
I know this boy did not just say that.
"Hahaha very funny. This is a prank Isn't it. Did Brooke put you up to this? Oh my god I'm gonna kill her when I get home." I tell grayson, in denial.
"Ry I'm not lying to you. Look at yourself in the mirror." He tells me.
If it makes him sleep at night.
I open the mirror in the car and look at myself. Without turning around I say, "see I told you there's nothing-
Then I see the fangs coming from where my canines were. I cover my mouth quickly and just look at grayson.
"Your a vampire. I am too. So are your parents. I came for you ry, this might sound crazy but in the vampire world you either are born into it, or get bitten. Your parents are head of the council, that's why you really never see them. I knew if I became friends with your brother, I could get to you faster. We interacted in your mind when we were younger. Don't you remember?" He explains, then asks me.
Then I hits me. He's imaginary boy.
Okay I know this sounds crazy, but in my mind I would talk to this boy, we would tell each other jokes and he would help me through some hard times I went though as a child. I started making a lot of friends around my neighborhood, and just stoped talking to him which I thought was just an imaginary friend. I guess it was grayson.
"You were the boy?" I say.
He just looks at me and nods.
"How is that even possible?" I ask him. How can I talk to people through my mind. How do I have a soulmate I never met. How am I a vampire?
"I will teach you everything. You just need to trust me." Grayson says. I just nod and he starts the car.
He pulls up to a party city and parks.
Grayson's POV//
The vampire council is without a doubt showing up at the party tonight to take ry. But I have no clue how to subtly say that, along with a hey I have to take you away from your family for awhile so we can save everyone from the originals.
We both get out of the car and walk into the store.
Ry immediately goes over to the cups and starting picking up different kinds.
I guess I'll just go for it.
"Ry there are something called the originals. They are the oldest vampires alive, which makes them the most powerful. They are gonna want you. And they will probably come tonight at this party."
Wow grayson so settle.
She just looks at me.
"What about my family. Mountgumary? Are they gonna hurt them?" She asks very concerned.
"Your parents are on the council, they are one of them. There plan is to kill you as a sacrifice for there mistakes. We're gonna have to get back soon and explain this all to mountgumary before they get to him and brainwash him. That's probably really hard to hear but all I wanna do is help you. I'm here for you okay Ry? I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." I tell her.
I then feel her fear.
Ry's POV//
Just great. I'm a vampire, alongside my annoying vampire twin brother, with our crazy murder vampire parents who wanna kill us.
"Don't forget your super hot vampire boyfriend." Grayson says with a smirk.
"Shit, I forgot you can read my mind." I say with a tiny giggle at the end.
Grayson grabs my wrist and pulls me towards him.
He leans in and kisses me passionately.
"I told you I'm never gonna let anything happen to you. Don't be scared. Just trust me." He whispers.
I nod my head, still in shock from what he just did.
As he begins to walk towards the register I realize something.
"Wait your my boyfriend now?" I ask sarcastically.
"Baby I've always been." Is all he says as he takes the cups from my hand and walks up the cashier.
I smile to myself as I hear a voice in my head.
Glad to know I make you happy I hear Grayson's voice say.
I just look up at him as he smiles at me.
He walks over to me and intertwines our hands as we walk to the car.
He walks me over to the passenger side and opens the door.
"Wow such a gentleman." I say with a smirk on my face.
"Anything for my everything." He says as I laugh at his sentence. He close the door behind me and gets in the drivers side.
Wait a sec
I look at Grayson's neck and it has this weird....tattoo?
I pull up my shirt and slightly pull down my leggings, revealing a small tattoo I've had since I can remember. I look at Grayson's tattoo, then back at mine. There identical.
"I guess you weren't kidding when you said were soulmates." I say with a surprised look on my face.
Grayson laughs.
"It symbolizes a promise. Each vampire is born with a tattoo that is connected to another. They are all different in little ways, but you know when you've found your match." He explains to me.
Well at least I don't have to worry about dying alone anymore.
Grayson pulls into my driveway and we both get out of the car, and walk in the door.
I put the cups on the table and look up at grayson.
But Grayson's not there.
Then I feel this huge ache in my stomach, then in my head.
"what is happening to me!" I scream as I fall on the ground.
Then the pain just stops. I grab my stomach in shock.
What was that?
"Ry!" I hear someone scream from upstairs.
I run up the staircase and into mountgumarys room to find him on the floor and grayson holding a dagger. He's holding another man by his neck up against he wall.
Well I guess this is my new life.
