Seventeen years passed and Rose, the little baby grew. Now she was a grown up girl.
"Rose, your father wishes to see you" said a maiden beautifully dressed.
The girl looked at her and closed the book that she was reading.
"Fairwell. You may go!" She ordered, rising up from the sofa. She was wearing a black long dress that was covering her arms and neck. She had pretty stones embroded that took different plant forms or flowers. She was moving gracefully and she was walking proud.
She crossed the long corridors of the mansion, inspecting every inch of the corridor. Everything were perfect, at it's place the black with red marble that was perfect cleand.
She arrived in a front of a double door and she opened them.
She observed his father that sat up from his chair when he saw her. He smiled at her and when he open his mouth to say to her probably something very dramatic, Rose cut right in, to stop him from some stupid and sentimental things.
"Father, i did not expect your arrival so soon. To what do i owe the pleasure?"
"Well, i am glad to see you too! Thank you for your concern! You're just came from the war and that is how treat your father after fifteen years?"
"Oh, i'm so sorry, Mr. Rossemberg. I should have paid more respect to you."
"No! Tell me papa! Like you used to!"
"No. I am not a fool child anymore but, i am glad to see that you are doing well. How was in the war? Did you manage to get your revenge?"
She sat on the red chair and took a cup of tea from the wood sculpted table. Her father was looking at her, annoyed by the way she became. He was always gone from home. He never actually had the chance to spend the time with her but when he did, they used to play together until, she started to study. She loved to learn new things and she was always quick to learn but with the time, she started to become a perfectionist and rigid.
He sighed and massaged his neck.
  "We did but..."
"But what?" Cut his daughter with a cold voice that send chills down to his father spine and blood.
"Well they kinda got away and..."
"And what, father? Say it faster and stop beating around the bushes! I don't have time to stay and listen to one sentence when i could do something more important."
"They killed all of our doctors! That is what happend!"
"And they send you to find some doctors and you wish to come with you because i studied medical school?"
"That's my daughter! You will be paid! And you will learn and practice new things!"
"Father, stop right there! You are even aware of what you are telling me right now?"
  "Yes."
"So, you practically wish to send your sweet daughter on a battlefield and risk her life, don't you?" She asked while tapping a finger on her arm, annoyed."
  "No, i-"
"Say no more. If that is your wish i will go but, i am going to stay only until you will find another doctors to do their jobs there because i find my life very important, unlike other persons."
Her father looked at her with sad eyes. He wished for her to be happy and to show some love in her eyes. He came to her and sat down beside her. He looked in her eyes and said:
"You have grown so much! You beca-"
"Stop right there, please." She intrerupted him." I grew up because the time does not wait for anyone, not even you."
His father sighed and stood up. His hair was dark as wood and messy. His clothers were a bit ravished. Rose looked at the uniform and put her hands on it, starting to make it look perfect. After she finished, she stood up.
  "Than-"
"When we are going?" She asked while she was looking at his eyes black as hers.
"In three days." He answerd shortly, looking at her with sadness in his eyes.
"Then take a bath and change your clothes. You smell like dirt and blood. Make yourself confortable and if you need anything you can ask Hilda."
"But if i ask you to bring me a cup of watter?"
"I am not your servant. Hilda will bring you what you need."
"But i am your father!" He protested, looking at her with puppy eyes.
"You might be my father but i have more important things to do than chatting. Now, if you excuse me, i have some important business to attend to. Have a good day, sir."   She turned around, letting him standing there, stunned with his mouth open. She shut the doors down and left the mansion, rushing to the place she had to meet up with Dejiv.
