I combed my long black hair while looking at the big mirror in my room. The woman in the mirror is indeed beautiful. No wonder many lives we're gone. Hahahahahaha. I laughed at my own thought. I seriously cannot count how many men expressed their adoration towards me but they end up getting insane or dead. Why? Should I need to tell you? Or do you know it by now?
They are just the same as him. A bastard who only wants power and nothing more. My beauty is just a consolation prize. I gave my heart for him to live yet he betrayed me. He will pay! All of them! Tomorrow night is the bloodmoon. My power will be at its full force and that will be the start of their end.

I stand up and put on my long silky long sleeve black gown with a deep V-cut in front that reaches my belly button. I added my deep fiery red lipstick and viola! I'm done. Looking at the mirror one more time, I smirked. I am hella gorgeous. Thanks to my parents genes. Satisfied with my look, I made my way to the throne.

Ash POV

I looked deeply at the picture of the most beautiful woman I ever set my eyes into in my hand. Beautiful is an understatement, she is ethereal. She fits her Kingdom well. She's the one that I wanted since then but fate made fun of us and twisted our lives. I need to choose, and I chose to become her enemy for her own sake. I do not want to hurt but I know I did. "You made the right choice. It's for the best Ash." I said to myself convincingly.

"My King!" A soldier approached that put me back to senses.
I immediately turned my head to him and asked "What's the matter Niel?". Niel is one of my most trusted soldiers. He is my bestfriend. The one who knew everything I went into. The one who always supports whatever my decision is.

"I need to talk to you in private my King". He said in a serious tone.
"Let's go to the library." I stated and walk towards the place as Niel follows.

"What is it that you wanted me to know Niel?" I started after we get inside the library.
"Tomorrow is the bloodmoon and we both know that it's the time that her power will arise to its fullest." He declared and continued, "We both heard what she said 3 years ago King Ash. She will come back and kill all of us."
"I know Niel. I heard it pretty well and to be honest, I do not know what to do. I want to tell her everything but I know she won't hear me. She is very angry that day, the day I betrayed her. I broke her trust, and her heart." I replied.
"You are a KING Ash! I believe it's your job to keep your people safe from harm. A lot of innocent will die if you will not make your brain function! I'm sorry for my words My King but you need to take a step to stop this and fight back no matter what it takes. We are here to back you up." Niel spat out.
"It's okay. I understand Niel and you are right. Let's plan our moves for tomorrow then. Call all the soldiers, guards and witches in our Kingdom. We need to protect the Kingdom and its people at all cost." I commanded him.
"Yes My King!" He bowed and goes out.

"Forgive me my beloved Queen, but I will protect my people even if it means hurting you again." I sighed to myself. It will be a bloody fight.
