Jenny and I have been hanging out almost everyday after school for 2 months now to watch the greatest youtubers of all time, she's now just as obsessed as me! She's the only person who really knows why I watch Rhett and Link. I told her that VidCon was coming up, but I couldn't afford to go, then she says to me, “Hey, Anna, I got a surprise for you!" She told me one day. “Really? What is it?!" I got really excited, and kept wondering what it could be! VidCon maybe? “Come to my house tomorrow after school and I'll show you." I could tell she was trying as hard as she possibly could to keep quiet.
-The next Day-
“You ready?!" Jenny practically screamed at me. Then she handed me a pen, notebook with the YouTube logo and an envelope. I opened it up and read its contents.
“Dear Anna,
Hi! You're going to VidCon. You're going to meet us. See you next week!
-Rhett and Link" I fell over, my eyes wide, I was in total shock. I, Anna McFarland am going to meet the two men that saved my life! “Um, Anna? You ok?" Jenny was clearly worried, can you blame her? I'm laying on her floor clutching the note signed by Rhett and Link..not making any noise. I can't move. “Seriously! Anna! Are you ok?!" “What? Oh, yeah, sorry. I'm just in total shock!" I say, my heart pounding. “Jenny, this is literally the nicest thing anyone has ever done to me!" I take her in for a hug. “Thank you" I whisper, then start to cry. “No, thank you! You are my first real friend, and you introduced me to Rhett and Link!" she said. Then it was silent while we both process what's about to happen.
