So, the last extended cut was well received and I'm hoping the same for this one.

If you guys like this, I have a few more ideas for this mini-series ^^

Also, this was meant to be posted a couple days ago, so I'm sorry for the delay~ However, I didn't realize it was going to be so damn long and over 3000 words >.<

Anyhow, thank you for waiting <3<3<3

Why was falling for someone at first sight such a taboo? Why was it weird or unnatural for one person to be so head over heels for another within their first meeting? Was it superficial to think that you enjoy the way a person looks? Or was it just wrong because you were basing how much you liked that person based on their looks and your own instinct?

Maybe it wasn't realistic enough. Or maybe it was too naive. Possibly both. But what Kim Mingyu found that his instinct and fondness over Jihoon was correct because he definitely fell in love with that small killer marshmallow as if he were the only person on the Earth.

Mingyu on the opposite side of the small killer marshmallow spectrum, as the tall sweet puppy, had always been taught to follow his heart and his instincts. That they would always lead him the the right place. So far they had.

He was a model. One of Seoul's elitists. Friends with idols and training himself to be more than 'just a pretty face'. He had a jammed schedule for shoots, parties and training but he still managed, or rather forced there to be, time for Jihoon.

He made sure that Jihoon was aware of his feelings. Letting him know quickly that he liked him. Ecstatic when the shorter male agreed to date and over the moon with any and every interaction. Mingyu fell for Jihoon's cute looks and his instinct that the cute boy was everything he wanted.

When the model was able to get the producer away from his phone and the studio, dates were a blast. Laughs, good food, good drinks...kissing..sex.. Everything was all he ever wanted.

Whatever Mingyu and Jihoon did together was full of passion. It was addictive and unreal. Slightly alarming with how wrapped around Jihoon's finger the taller male was. But he was in love. Love has no bounds and can do amazing things.

The day of the picnic, Mingyu had spent three hours prior to the date getting everything prepared to confess his love for the producer. That was the day his heart shattered, the Earth may have as well but he just wasn't quite sure.

"Okay..That's great, Mingyu.."

The words reverberated in his skull, pounding against the walls of his mind as if there was a mosh pit storming around.

His jubilant smile fell as the smaller's words settled.

Mingyu always knew that Jihoon wasn't the most affectionate,.. but he waited five whole months to confess! He could've told him on their first date but he didn't want to scare the little fluffball away.

But to think.. to think that Jihoon was that- That oblivious?! It was almost infuriating.

After that day, they saw less and less of each other. Mingyu forced himself to stay away. To not pick up the phone to let Jihoon know why he was being so distant. To not ask Jihoon to come over right now and let him hug him.

Jihoon never called him first. He never sent him a message or initiated conversations. Not the whole time they were together. Why would Mingyu even think that Jihoon would try now?

Another week passed and Mingyu knew that they were never getting together again. Jihoon didn't care for him in the same way that Mingyu did.

A shaky hand scrolled through a contact list. Where it used to say Squishy Marshmallow, it now read Lee Jihoon, anything cute was erased a month after his confession.
