She waltzed into our lives wrapped in blue
Couldn’t take my eyes off her, still can’t
I snatched her off the cradle into my arms
To protect her, to love her with all my heart
She opened her eyes to look into mine
I held my breath to see what she would do next
She laughed with so much delight
I confess, I haven’t been the same ever since
While tears are the weapons she wields
To get what she wants, which mostly she does
Her smiles are ever so deep and wide
With a sole purpose to melt and bewitch
She has enriched our lives with million smiles
With hugs and kisses that warm our souls
She is the one who makes me want
To be her mom ten times over! God bless!
