I knocked thrice, no response, I checked through the backyard
"Cara? ", I jumped,
"sorry",he said, I looked at the pot of flowers he was holding,
"you're planting flowers? You Zack?",
"yeaa a neighbor offered them to me, I can't waste it", I nodded followed by awkward silence,
"you wanna.... Come.. Inside?",
"sure", he dropped the flowers and I followed him.
He unlocked the door and we walked in, and am completely surprised by what I was seeing, his house is clean, for the first time in forever.
"your house is clean", I said smiling, "yea, decided to clean up a little, want coffee?", I nodded and followed him to the kitchen.
I was trying to find the right moment to tell him, Dana said I should just rush over to him and kiss him, then tell him I love him,
I can't do that.
"here", he said handing me the coffee and sitting beside me.
"great",he smiled.

"wel-"
We said together, "it's OK continue",he said,
"no, you go first",
"it's fine, just go ahead",he said, "no, you started first", he bit his lips, "alright".
"I don't know where to start", he said shoving his hair back,
"well...i don't know", he stopped, touching the tip of his mug,
"OK I just want to know if you've found the right guy, tall guy with nice hair, who can make you laugh and crazy happy, dress and look responsible, who knows what to do at every particular time, have a responsible business..",he chuckled, I bent my head in shame, he remembered what I said,
"well have you?"
"zack-"
"because I love you"
My heart melted
"I still do, I've always loved you"
He was looking at me, I was shaking inside out, I dropped the mug and twisted my palms,
"I might not be all of them or have a responsible business, at least am tall, I got nice hair, I think I look responsible enough, I can try and be always neat, am not perfect bu-", I kissed him cutting him short,
"I love you too Zack, I've always loved you and you're enough for me, no matter how you are, you're the right guy for me, I know", he kissed me again locking our bodies together.
And that's the most perfect moment of my life, saying something that I've always wanted to say.
