THE SECRET

Charlie is a traveling photographer. She mostly does landscape and nature photoes, but occasionally will take photos of people.

She was away from home again and felt really drained and lonely. She lives in LA and loves it there but lately hasn't spent much time at home. She missed all of her friends and even her own bed.

She managed to get a hotel room with a kitchen. She loves to cook but lately never gets a chance. She was very excited to be able to cook her own meal.

She headed off to the supermarket. She prefers all natural foods that she gets from a grosser near her home, but at this point didn't care where it came from.

She felt a little lost and flustered as she walked down the isles. So many different kinds of brands for just the one product.

Charlie was squinting at the shelf, trying to choose between five brands. When she reached for one a person stopped her.

"Oh honey I wouldn't pick that one. Here this is much healthier". The women said with a kind voice.

C"Thank you. I'm so lost here". I said trying to catch my breath.

"You look a little lost. Are you new here. I'm Rayon by the way".

C"Charlie. I'm just here for work". I said shaking her hand.

R"What kind of work".

C"Photography".

R"That sounds exciting. Do you think I would look good in font of your camera". She flicked her hair and pouted her lips.

C"I guess you would". I said with a little giggle. "I do more so nature than people".

R"I like your laugh, it's so natural".

C"Thanks. I like your dress".

R"Oh thanks honey. You don't think it's a little too revealing at the neckline". She said as she ran her fingers down her chest that was uncovered.

C"Just a little".

R"Damit. I new I should of worn a coat".

C"Here how about this". I pulled a scarf out of my purse and put it on her. "Is that better".

R"Oh your so kind. Thank you sweetie".

C"My pleasure"

R"Here let me help you find what you need".

Rayon grabbed the list and helped me find everything that I needed. She even helped carry the bags to the car.

C"Thank you for that. I would of been here all day if I didn't have your help"

R"Oh my pleasure honey. I hope you enjoy your stay here".

C"Me too, but I still can't wait to get back to LA".

R"I'm from LA too. Such a beautiful city".

C"I love it".

They said goodbye and wished each other luck. Charlie had a much better night than planned and slept with no trouble for the first time in a long while.

The next morning Charlie was out and about after work. She was walking threw the park and found a cute pair of birds that were snuggling with each other. She took a few photos then felt warm air on her neck.

R"That looks so sweet". She whispered in Charlie's ear.

C"Are you trying to scare me". Charlie said as she jumped.

R"Oh honey I'm sorry. Are you ok". Rayon wrapped her hands around the back of Charlie's neck. "Forgive me".

C"Yes. Just a little warning next time".

They walked threw the park talking and taking photos. Charlie was having a ball. Rayon was making all kinds of funny poses that made Charlie laugh. The next few day's Charlie and Rayon hung out. They really enjoyed each other's company.

It was the final day before Charlie had to go back home. At first she was upset because she had to leave Rayon but then remembered she lived in LA too. Rayon still had a few more day's till she could go home.

Charlie went to the park to meet Rayon. Rayon text her.

R"Sorry honey but I'm working an all nighter tonight. I will try to see you before you go home tomorrow". Charlie was a little disappointed but understood.

The next day Charlie had packed her car and was ready to leave. She saw Rayon and had an instant smile.

R"Is that smile for me".

C"Do you like it".

R"Very much so. I'm sorry about yesterday. So busy".

C"That's ok, we can always catch up when you get home".

Rayon started to act a little funny. She told Charlie she was fine but really she wasn't. Charlie had no idea that Rayon wasn't who she said she was. Rayon new she had to tell Charlie her secret and soon.
