THE SECRET

CHAPTER 5

J"I come in piece". He said raising his hands.

C"Did you follow me"

J"No. This is my thinking spot. I don't get to come here much, with how busy I am"

C"This is your spot too"

J"Yes. Now before you say another word or run away can I explain why I lied to you"

C"I'm listening"

J"Firstly I'm so sorry I lied. I was playing Rayon in a movie I was doing and to give my character the best chance, being that Rayon was a real person, I had to stay in character. When I met you I didn't think I'd ever see you again. When I did, the more time I spent with you the harder it was to tell you. So I decided to tell you today. I didn't want to wait so I picked you up earlier"

C"I trusted you. I told you very personal things about myself"

J"I know, I'm sorry. Please let me make it up to you. If it helps the other actors on set have never met me either. I stayed in character with them too"

C"It doesn't"

I sat back down not knowing what to do. My body was telling me to jump his bones but my head was telling me to run. He was just like the rest of the guy's I dated.

C"I'm sorry but I need to go"

J"Please wait". He grabbed my arm. "Don't leave like this"

C"I need time, you know that"

J"Yeah I do. But trust me when I say I'm nothing like those other guy's, I swear"

I went home and curled up into a ball in bed. I just wanted to disappear. A few day's had past and no word from Jared. He wasn't kidding when he said he'd give me space.

On the fifth day I got an email asking if I could do a photo shoot for a magazine. I jumped at the chance. I hadn't had human contact in 3days. The girls were busy with work so I had to deal with my personal problems on my own.

I arrived at the studio early to set up. It was only 30 minutes till go time when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

J"Hi"

C"Hi. What are you doing here"

J"I'm here for you to take photos of"

C"Really"

J"Yes, and the rest of the band too"

C"Oh. Well let me know when your ready"

I went back to setting up for the shoot. I felt his hands run up and down my arms. A part of me wanted to push him away but my body wouldn't move. Goosebumps formed on my arms as I closed my eye's. I wanted him so badly and he new it.

J"So I'll see you when you finish setting up". He said as he removed his hands and walked away.
