but why?

When I went in the Woods I saw  a shadow figure. When I saw it,it had blood red eyes,it looked at if it ate something (alive) and gave of a really bad vibe. It looked like a girl it just had the figure, I looked at her and she fell over. It looked like Iv met her before,but I don't know why. I ran over to her to see if she was alright. But when I saw her she was not a shadow anymore but she was a girl mybut she look as if she was crying it scared me she said "help me I want my mom and dad."  " don't worry I'll help you, but I need to know whats your name?"
She look at me as if her whole day had gotten 100 times better. She opened her mouth but I heard a voice from behind me.
"HEY" I turned around
Kat?
The rest if the group was behind her
"what is it?" I asked
Kat had a aggravated face
"you-"
She was breathing heavy
"YOU LEFT us "
I tried to change the subject
"Kat you know her?"
She caught her breath
She said "She was in are group a long time ago Star."
I gave a confused look
"what do you mean? "
"it was before you joined,she um-"
Emotion cut her off
"nothing, she did nothing, let's just go home"
"NO" I said "I am not going anywhere till you tell what happened."
Everyone stared at me
But why?
