Chapter 1: Pre-Holiday Excitement

It was due to posting the "Story Time: Meeting Camila Cabello" vídeo that I went from having 318 to a little over 200,000 subscribers in the span of seven months. Given that my channel surprisingly skyrocketed, I was able to make being a YouTuber my full job, thus being able to pay for my own expenses. Overall, not having a 9-5 job meant that I could do things however and whenever I wanted, traveling being one of them. With that being said, I ended up booking a three-week long Europe trip, spending about a week in Spain, jetting off to Lisbon then capping the trip off in London. The reason I decided to celebrate my having graduated a month later was to: a) be able to finally meet and visit Brittany in Barcelona, b) attend some YouTuber trip and c) watch Shawn Mendes live.

The original plan was to start out in London and finish the trip off in a Schengen county, but it ended up being the other way around because my visa will be expiring in a few weeks and Brittany is leaving for Canada on the 9th. However, I wasn't going to let the change of plan affect my trip and new experiences.

5:45am

I ended up waking up an hour earlier than expected and couldn't go back to sleep out of sheer excitement. With that, I took this as an opportunity to get some work done prior to my waxing appointment and gym session. Although not working a 9-5 job is a luxury in itself, having people email at certain hours of the day (especially as some of the brands I do sponsorship videos with are based abroad) and spending a lot of time on the laptop comes with the YouTuber territory. Blessed, I look at it as an opportunity to grow my channel and as a human being.

7:30am

An hour and a half had already passed and so far, I have responded to a few emails and comments, uploaded a video and edited half of a sponsored one and had breakfast. Given that I promised Bea I would  be ready by 7:45, I quickly changed into my workout clothes and washed my face and brushed my teeth. As per usual, she was on time and picked me up at 7:45 on the dot.
