"Psst.. P'Arthit!...P'.."
Arthit groggily opened his eyes as he heard someone call his name, with a tapping on the window.
His eyes widened when he saw him and quickly sat up.
"You! What the hell are you doing here? it's so late" he hissed, and looked back at the closed door fearing his parents would come and check on him if they heard the noise.
Another knock on the window made him turn his attention to him "Open it P'Arthit..." He said smiling.
Arthit walked towards him and glared but still let him inside.
"You shouldn't have come! What if someone see you..." The rest of words he couldn't say as he was engulfed in a surprise hug.
"Shh.. today's your birthday, had to see you" he heard him whisper, kissing his side of the head.
Arthit felt his heart flutter and a blush raise on his cheeks. Then he craved into his emotions and hugged him back.
"Thank you, K...."
Arthit opened his eyes and he came face to face with Namtan who was sleeping peacefully beside him. He blinked, once, twice, before slowly letting out an frustrated growl.
His head was aching, as if it was forced to remember something it was not supposed to.
He was just minutes away from screaming...he don't know who that person is! He don't know why he keeps dreaming about him! And he don't know why but he was sure it was a man.
He just don't know what's happening with him.
And it was not clear at all.. it was all blurry.. so blurry.
Arthit stared his old room ceiling for few seconds before taking big deep breath and slowly sitting up. The bright morning sunlight flashing through his window made him realize that it was already morning and he looked at Namtan and thought of waking her up.
But then decided against it and got of the bed, she was really tired yesterday maybe few more minutes sleep will do good to her.
He walked out of his room once he finished freshened up. He said good morning his dad who was enjoying his morning coffee. He looked at him and smiled.
"Arthit..you woke up early" His dad commented, surprise coating in his voice.
"Hmm... Yeah, I did like I always do" Arthit commented back, not really understanding what's so surprising about that.
His dad opened his mouth to say something but thought better and just shrugged at him.
"Thank you, Fan" Arthit smiled when Fan brought him coffee. He smiled back and looked around in search of his mom.
"Aunty is making breakfast for you, your favourite" Fan said.
"Okay" Arthit said and sipped on his hot coffee.
Arthit and His dad made a small talk as they waited for breakfast to be done. Namtan soon joined them, looking all fresh and happy as she sat beside Arthit.
"So..I wanted to see how it's changed here" Arthit said.
"Good idea let's go after finishing breakfast" She said and thanked Arthit's mom as she served the food.
Arthit parents looked at each other and held back their words, in a blind hope that nothing could go wrong with their son perfect life.
.
"No need for car dad, let us walk around" Arthit said when his dad told him to take his car.
His dad frowned but nodded anyway.
"Be sure to meet Khun lek alright, he will be happy to meet you" His dad said referring to his old friend.
"I will" Arthit said.
"Isn't he P'Knot's father?" Namtan asked to which Arthit nodded his head in yes and smiled as he remembered his best friend.
As they three talked, Arthit's mother called Fan.
"Fan go with them" She said once he came towards her. Arthit looked at her in surprise.
"No need for that it's okay Mom" he started to reason but his mother insisted on taking Fan with them making them just agree to it.
"Listen to me Ai'Fan, you can let them go wherever they want, or meet anyone just make sure they will not go near Suthiluck Mansion alright" Arthit's mother hissed silently in low voice, making sure no one heard her.
Fan looked at her in confusion.
"Eh..why?" He asked.
Arthit's Mother glared at him. "Because I said so, I am serious don't let them near that Mansion" she warned him again.
Fan scratched his head before giving her shrug "Okay Aunty" he agreed.
"Let's go P'Arthit and P'Nam" He called out as he walked towards them.
Arthit parents watched them go, their eyes watching the entwined hands of Arthit and Namtan.
They look perfect together.
"He shouldn't have come back" Arthit's dad murmurs.
Arthit's Mother nods her head "I know, but it's okay, everything will be okay" She says.
"What if...what if.."
"No!" Arthit's Mother didn't let her husband finish off his talk. Her eyes flashing.
"He wouldn't! He..." She said through clenched teeth.
"He promised us" she breathed out and nodded, calming herself.
And she was sure Kongpob Suthiluck is not the person who breaks his promise.
