Chapter 29

Y/n pov

It's been 2 days and we still couldn't find Kelly. My mom even helped us but we didn't call the police...

"Do you even think she's alive?" Jack was sitting on my couch looking at the ceiling with soulless eyes.

"Jack! What the fuck are you even saying?!" I yelled at him.

He became silent.

"Hey. I left my jacket at school, I'm just gonna grab it real quick." Zach spoke.

"Okay." I confirm.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek for a little safty.

Zach pov

I grab my jacket form my locker and walked out of school grounds. I still can't believe we haven't found Kelly.

I heard really soft sobs from the back of the school. It sound like it was far away. I ran following the sound of sobbing getting loader.

I stop.

If I go any further the sobbing dims and if I go back the sound softens.

I was at a small field with a bunch of trees. I look down and I kicked the dirt. Something was under all that dirt and I'm not going to stop here.

I dust off the dirt and it was a door. I opened it and it had a ladder leading down to a pit of darkness. I climbed down anyways, the sobs souls so close.

I was on the ground and there was a room. I opened it and it was Kelly sitting on a chair sobbing out if breath and blood spill all over her and the metal room.

"Kelly!" I yelled and ran over to her and start untying her.

"Zach?" she look at my face.

"Yeah. It's me hold on." she gave a weak smile but when I fully untie her she fell off the chair into me.

"Kelly? KELLY?! KELLY!!" I shake her lifeless body.

I call Y/n and she instantly pick up. "Y/n get to me now! Phone find me there's no time!"

"What?! What's going on?" Y/n panic but I can here her typing away to find me.

"Just hurry. And call an ambulance!" I hung up and carried Kelly on my back climbing up the ladder.

Once I reach there was a car driving in fast speed at me. It stoped and it was Y/n, Jack and her mom. They all got out and when Jack saw Kelly he ran to me grabing on her gently.

"CALL THE AMBULANCE!!" jack yelled.

"I already did." Y/n wanted sk say but came out as a whisper.

Seconds later the ambulance came. Paramedics hurried Kelly I'm the ambulance and Jack rode with her.

They zoom off with the 3 of us following them.

I saw Y/n sobbing at the seat next to me.

I held her. "Babe. Don't cry."

"Zach what if she dies?!" she sobs even more.

"She won't I promise." I hug her tight.

Y/n's mom got jam back so the ambulance got to the hospital first.

We reached and Kelly was in the room getting blood and stuff while Jack wait outside impatiently.

A few minutes later, the doctor came out.

"How is she?" Y/n ask.

"When you brought her in she was on the verge of death. She lost alot of blood."

"Can we go in?" Jack bacicly jump up from his seat.

"Yes." the doctor said and we all rushed in.

Kelly's face was pale. Jack sat beside her and held her hand.

"I'm going to find this person and kill him!!" he said with rage.

"We will Jack. We will." I hold his shoulder.

After awhile, I sat beside Y/n. She looks so sad. I know it's hard for her to see her best friend in this state.

Y/n pov

"Zach I'm going to call my mom." I said and went out. I call her multiple times but she didn't answer..

I went back to Kelly room. "I'm going home to get some fresh clothes for Kelly. Do you need anything?"

"No we're fine. But call me if anything happens." Zach kissed me.

I went home and the door was open....

"Mom?" I went in.

No answer.

I went to the kitchen and the was glass shattered all over the floor. And they was my mom's necklace, she never takes that off it was from my dad.

I heared voices so I duck down to his myself.

"Did you get Y/n?"

"No. But we got her mother."

"I need Y/n too. GET HER!"

I heard their footsteps fade and I ran back to the hospital.

I call my mom one last time.

"Y/N! DON'T GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL!"

"Huh?"

"RUN AWAY FROM THERE!" she last said and the line was dead.

"Zach!" I ran to him.

"Omg! What happened?!"

"They got my mom! And they want to get me next!"

"Don't worry babe. I won't let th touch you." he hugged me.

"I'm here for you too Y/n." Jack stood up I smile back.

Mom... Please be safe.
