I walked away as soon as the girl did. Since I was Kaitlyn's younger brother I knew when it was time to leave. I nudged Jake and we walked away. Jake was my best friend. He was an artist, but was looking for "inspiration" whatever that is, so I invited him. The girl walked up the stairs fast, but slow enough so her siblings could be next to her. She placed the boy she was holding down and laughed at something he said. I kept walking up the stairs until we were next to them. "Oi!" I said. She stopped walking and looked at me with a glare that could kill.
"What do you want?' She spat. She looked at her siblings and said something in french and they ran off. "Is it a crime to say hi to my cousin?" I joke. She rolled her eyes at this. "The last time you 'said hi' you nearly ran me over ." I chuckled"Good times, well bye." I walked away, but realizing Jake wasn't following me I turned back. Jake was drawing in his notebook. "I'll catch up with you." He said, so I walked away.
