the drive to the airport was completed in painful silence. none of the girls had fully come to terms with the fact that the "awesome foursome" would be apart for the first time ever. leo definitely hadnt come to terms with the fact that his little sister was moving away from him. leo sat in the drivers seat, tightly gripping the steering wheel as if the harder he squeezed it, the less likely he was to cry; the tears still managed to escape his eyes. ashleigh still wasnt sure how she felt about this huge change she was making. she was leaving two of her best friends behind and would no longer be under the care and protection of her big brother, but she was finally getting to go through with a dream that she'd been planning for as long as she can remember. phoebe was inexplicably excited for the move, even though she was part of the "awesome foursome" she still wasnt as close with the other two girls as ashleigh was, so she was finding it hard to contain the excitement that came with being reunited with her twin brother. the other two girls, avery and cassie, sat either side of phoebe in the back of the car with glum expressions on their faces. they were now realising that two of the best friends would be leaving them and no one knew how long it would be until they could all be reunited. no matter how hard avery tried, she just couldn't force herself to leave all her family behind and move with the girls, so she was staying behind with leo and cassie. cassie was the youngest of the group and couldnt drop everything and leave school to spontaneously move across the country to live with boys she had never met before.

ashleigh and phoebe were packing up and moving from their comfortable homes and leaving their comfortable lives in texas to live with their respective twin brothers in california. it was a hard decision for the girls to make; leaving their two best friends and some family members behind took lots of thought and consideration, but everyone agreed that this would benefit both of their careers. i mean, la is the city of dreams, right?

all of the "awesome foursome" were social media personalities but ashleigh and phoebe both had bigger dreams. ashleigh wanted to become a professional dancer, and phoebe a professional singer. before the move, both girls posted videos showcasing their talents to the millions of followers they had accumulated between them, but they both wanted that to be more than just a hobby. as children, both ashleigh and phoebe wanted to be on broadway; to see their name in lights - but was that what they wanted anymore? they had both watched their brothers' careers grow and flourish into the members of the world famous boyband they were part of, so naturally following in their footsteps and travelling to la was almost the obvious choice if they wanted to get their names out there in their preferred business.

ever since the boys left, they had offered time and time again for the girls the live with them in their house, so the girls finally took them up on their offer. now they were trapped in a moving car full of sadness, ready to leave everything behind to try and start their new careers with their brothers in the city of stars.
