My Alarm Clock Woke me up this morning.

I turned it off.

I tried, anyway.

I missed the Clock.

So I opened my eyes, and tried again.

Missed.

By a long shot, too, because I whacked the floor and fell out of bed, instead. I felt around under my bed for my slippers.

I put them on.

Or thought I did, at the very least.

I missed my foot completely and ended up smacking my face with the darn shoe, Instead of putting it on my foot.

I discarded the slippers to the dungeon under my bed, and grabbed my phone.

Dialled my Mum's phone number.

I asked her if she was free to bring some bread for my breakfast, I ran out and don't know where the shops are.

She got here in a matter of minutes, and made a piece of toast for me. I ate it and said goodbye.

I must have not heard her leaving, because I went to hug her, but instead of hugging her I hugged the wall.

I sighed.

My alarm clock is still ringing, now.

Today I didn't turn off my alarm clock.
