Night had fallen over the city. Mark stayed with his brother. He slept in the lounge so in case he got up, he would be there for him. Mack went back home with her dad to check on his injuries. He was healing properly, but still couldn't go back to work anytime soon. Harris's parents wanted him home, so he had no choice in the matter. Ever since the Red Bloom incident, they've been more protective. Could you really blame them though? Both of Veracity's dads were home now. They had made sure she was aware that their work schedules are going to be changing. That meant she was going to be alone in the house for most of the time. Luckily for her, Mack came over a lot so she wouldn't be lonely.
As for Spyder, his mom didn't mind that he stayed with his friend. Though Mech X4 was still a secret from her, Cherise allowed her son to do what he pleased. She wasn't a carefree mother by any means and knew when she had to put her foot down. But if teens didn't have room to breathe, then that would make their lives stressful. Especially after what went down with Cherise and Clarke, Spyder's absentee father. I won't get into that too much since it's a private matter. And when I say private...well, it's not easy to be said aloud. Granted Spyder never hated his father and even maintained a decent father/son relationship with him. Broken, but decent.
Sleeping in the med bay, the male technopath was resting. After dealing with the craziness that happened, he could use it. Not everyday your body shakes and nearly causes an explosion in your 180 foot robot. He flipped his body to the other side, feeling more comfortable that way. While doing so, someone was standing against the wall casually waiting for him to wake up. He tilted his head to the side and crouched down. His finger started to poke at his head. Nothing. Standing back up with his head in a normal position, he decided to alert him the old fashioned way.

"Hmp, that's like the fifty millionth time I've seen someone sleep on their side." The person said aloud.

That startled the pilot. He woke up with a jolt. Looking out in front, his eyes widened in fear.

"How the...? What in the world-"

"Yeah it's a little freaky," the person responded back, "you get used to it once you get past the first two hundred."

"Yes it's freaky, get the hell out of my robot!" Ryan screamed.

He massaged his neck a little bit since that scream made it hurt.

"Now those are words I thought I never thought somebody would say," the human being continued, "and I'd keep your voice down before somebody hears it. Your brother is in the other room."

"How the hell do you-"

"Is that your favorite word? I'm only asking cause it makes you sound more serious," The person interrupted him. The male technopath didn't have enough strength to get rid of the intruder, "and what's with the hosility? I've only been here for five minutes and you act as if I'm some stranger."

"You are!" Ryan's now raspy voice came into play, "I don't know who you are and last time I checked, I don't have a twin!"

The duplicate looked off to the side before answering back.

"But you do," he counteracted, "you all do. It's called multiple dimensions. Reason why nothing consequential is happening is because I figured out a way to be here without causing worlds to disappear."

Sitting up, the adopted child put the pieces together.

"Wait," Ry started asking, "so you mean to tell me you're....you're a-"

"Doppelganger," the person revealed. The young male pilot's eyes went wide again, "surprise."
