Third Person POV

HaeWon decided to go outside and walk around, while she was walking she passed by the cafe of the campus so she decided to go inside and get something to drink.

"Hi Ma'am! What would you like to order?" The cashier asked to the girl.

"I'd like an Iced Americano, please."

"Alright, Your name please?" The cashier said while grabbing a cup and a marker.

"HaeWon, Chae HaeWon."

The cashier nodded while writing the name on the cup.

"Alright miss HaeWon, your order will be done in a few minutes, I'll call you when your order is done."

The cashier smiled at HaeWon as she replied with a faint smile and bowed a little then walked away to find a seat.

HaeWon likes cafés, it's quiet and nobody pays attention to what you do. And, free wifi.

After what felt like 15 minutes the cashier called HaeWon to go and grab her order.

A guy named Mark Lee also went outside, (A/N: btw they don't have classes :3)

While he was walking he noticed a familiar face of a girl sitting on a table next to the window, Mark squinted his eyes as he realized that, that girl is the same girl he likes to text, Chae HaeWon.

He decided to act nonchalant so he went inside and ordered an iced coffee.

Once that his order was taken cared of, he approach HaeWon's table.

"Hi! Mind if I sit here?" Mark asked.

HaeWon was confused as to why he wanted to sit at her table, there were plenty of empty seats in the café but she wondered why he wanted to sit by her table, she just shrugged the thought off instead.

"Uhm...No, not at all I guess..." HaeWon replied.

Mark smiled and sat down on the seat across HaeWon.

"Hi! I'm Mark Lee!" Mark said as he offered a hand to HaeWon for a handshake.

"Uhm, Hi. I'm Chae HaeWon," HaeWon said as she hesitantly accepted the hand shake.

"Can I ask something?" HaeWon asked.

"Sure!" Mark replied.

"There are plenty of seats around, How come you wanted sit here?"

Mark knew that she would ask the question so he prepared a simple answer while he was taking his order.

"Well, I just want to be friends with you. that's all." Mark said smiling widely at the girl.

HaeWon's eyes slightly widened at his answer.

"You want to be friends? With me? Is this a joke?" HaeWon said pointing at herself,

Mark was about to open his mouth when the cashier interrupted what he was gonna say.

"Mark Lee! your order is ready!" The cashier said waving at their table.

"Oh one second, let me get that and I'll answer your question." Mark said as he stood up, HaeWon nodded and just murmured an "Okay".

Mark went to the cashier, took his order, and paid, then went back to the seat.

"Anyways, I just hate the fact that others would call you names."

HaeWon's eyebrow lifted.

"Oh, the loner thing..." HaeWon said while looking down,

"I know that's not true though! nobody is alone," Mark said.

"You do know that your reputation will change if you want to be my friend. Like for example, If you are famous, If you friend a person like me that reputation of yours will change, It will change from positive vibes from people, to negative ones." HaeWon said while taking a sip of her Iced Americano.

"I don't care. As long as you will be my friend I would be okay. So, would you like to be friends with me?" Mark asked.

HaeWon paused, but continued by saying,

"Yeah sure, I guess..."

At that moment Mark's eyes beamed with joy.

"Okay! You, Chae HaeWon, is now friends with me, Mark Lee! I promise to be the bestest friend you will have!" Mark said enthusiastically.

HaeWon was also happy, But she didn't wanted to show it as she can't trust him yet. She never knew that someone would like to be her friend.

"Well I gotta go, I feel like I have been out in the sun for too long..." HaeWon said standing up while grabbing her drink.

"I'll walk with you to the dorm!" Mark said while standing up aswell while taking his drink.

"Uh, you sure?" HaeWon asked.

"Positive! let's go!" Mark said and HaeWon nodded.

The both of them left the cafe and started walking to HaeWon's dorm.

While they were walking they got some nasty looks from other students,

"Holy, is that Mark?"

"Omg it is! But what is he doing walking with that slut?"

"That girl must've done something to him."

HaeWon realized she didn't had her hood on so she wore her hood then looked down.

Mark just continued walking like he heard nothing.

"It's going to be okay, I'll be right here if anything bad happens," Mark whispered to HaeWon.

HaeWon plastered a smile while looking down, her face covered by her hood.

They arrived at HaeWon's dorm and she pulled out her keys then unlocked the door.

Mark peeked in inside noticing that her room mate isn't there.

"Hey HaeWon, where's your room mate?" Mark asked.

"I don't have one," HaeWon said while going inside and Mark followed.

"Why?" Mark asked.

"It's because nobody wants to room with me."

Mark felt bad for her, the fact that she can't enjoy her school life because of people judging her for someone she's not.

But Mark wanted to change that, he wants to turn the introverted HaeWon that gets bullied, into a positive HaeWon that always looks on the bright side of things.

Mark will do everything just to make this girl happy, even if it means his popular reputation will change,

'Cause popularity means nothing compared to making a friend happy.
