Nate smiles, the first in a while, when Natalie, one of his friends, runs over with a huge grin on her face "Nate! Nate!Nate!" she squeals excitedly making Nate raise an eyebrow at her. "Guess what!" She almost demands of him and he chuckles lightly at how hyper she is. "You know I won't be able to guess...Just tell me already" he mutters and she smiles again.

"We're having a get-together. Tonight!" She excitedly whispers to him and he resists his eye roll but gives her a small smile and a nod. "I'll be there," he tells her and she runs off probably to make someone else 'guess'.

"Are you Nate?" he hears a foreign, seemingly female, voice yell his way, he looks up and nods. He looks in the direction of the voice standing in the way was a female, or what seemed to be a female.

They wore a pastel shirt that stopped midway on their stomach and hung off one shoulder, light blue shorts socks that went up to their thighs and white Nikes. Their hair was a short pastel red hair cut to around their ears, their bangs covering one eye, crystal blue eyes. As well as upside-down cross earrngs and a star choker.

"I'm the new kid," the seemingly female says to Nate, "my name is A-Star, and if you wondering" he let' out a sigh "I am a boy." That cleared up, nothing, yeah nothing. "Ugh, Natalie sent me here saying you could show me the art room, you can right?"

"Um...I guess" Nate mutters inwardly cursing Natalie for throwing him under the bus, he couldn't exactly say no now could he?

"Follow me" Nate murmurs taking long strides towards the art room which was on the other side of the school. "So, how old are you?" Star asks eyeing Nate with curiosity. There was something about Nate's bluntness that intrigued the pastel haired boy.

"17" Nate replies crassly watching a smirk form on Stars face. "I just turned 18" Star tells Nate who nods uninterested in the boy.

"We're here" Nate says gruffly opening the art room door just as the bell rings. "Thanks for taking me here...Um have a fun class!" Star smiles warmly to which Nate raises his left eyebrow.

"I actually have this class as well" Nate says awkwardly and Star blushes a dark shade of red as Nate follows him into the room before taking his usual seat towards the back of the class. Not knowing anyone else, Star follows Nate to the back of the class sitting next to them.

He went to glare at the boy and to tell him he could'nt sit there but noticed Stars anxious expression so refrained from doing so. Instead he analysed the boys appearance and felt his cheeks flush when Star turned and noticed the other boy starting at him. Star winked flirtatiously and Nate laughed making a few other students turn surprised to see that Nate had made the noise. It was rare to see him smile, let alone laugh.
Star grinned at anyone who looked at him.

A few moments later, the art teacher entered looking exhausted as always. "Just.. draw whatever" he muttered laying his head on the desk obviously planning to take a nap. Nate rolled his eyes at the teachers usual antics and
Star look genuinely surprised.

Pulling out his sketchbook, Nate stared around the room looking for inspiration before his eyes fell on Star who was concentrating on his sketch. Almost as if on its own, Nate's hand began to draw
