~A month later~

They've all been hanging out together, including Zihao, he fits in really well with the group of friends just like he did before. It's almost like he was never gone but the reality of it all was that he was gone.

Marie was curious though, she wanted to know how the old Zihao was doing, she wanted to know if all this happened for good...

She knew she hurt Zihao when she told them they were just friends but she does love him.. No matter if it's the old or new Zihao, she loves him. She wished there was a way she could check on the old Zihao, the Zihao that was now somewhere else.

She sighed softly as she sat in class, not paying attention to Zihao who was talking her ear off right now.

"Marie?" Zihao asked and Marie finally snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Zihao. "Oh, sorry, what were you saying?" she questioned curiously. Zihao sighed. "Never mind, what's wrong, you seem slightly out of it.." Zihao was worried and Marie could tell that but if she told him everything he would be weirded out.

"Zihao, I'm sorry I've been really distracted lately but-" an idea popped into her head like a light bulb lit over her head and she thought for a few seconds before continuing her sentence. "I have somewhere to go.. I'll tell you later, I promise." Marie assured the frowning boy before she headed out of the school building, deciding against going to school today.

As Marie was walking back home, it started getting stormy. It came out of nowhere and she sighed, walking a bit quicker but it apparently wasn't quick enough as she could hear the roar of thunder while walking along the footpath.

She shivered in slight fear as it got stormier the closer she stepped to her house. She didn't know what was going on but it gave her an extremely bad feeling about everything. She was certainly scared so she started running, coming closer to her house.

Fog started forming, making her almost blind as she continued running, now no longer knowing where she was going. She felt chills going down her back the more her vision was cut off.

She suddenly halted after seeing a faint shadow of a person ahead. Marie suddenly collapsed, the fog getting worse as her vision turned black.

Marie opened her eyes to see two different 'visions', as she'd call it. She got up walking towards the first vision, seeing herself and Zihao sitting in a classroom just recently, Zihao seeming worried about Marie. Marie sighed trying to reach her hand to it but her hand got zapped lightly and she quickly pulled it away.

Marie walked over to the next vision which she hadn't ever remembered seeing before. She looked closely with a confused face and noticed that this was the Zihao that left, the Zihao that got put into a different universe. Marie once again tried reaching her hand in, failing as the vision disappeared, only Zihao being left, standing there.

"Zihao!" Marie desperately called out to the older boy and he turned to her, looking her straight in her eyes.

"Marie?" Zihao questioned, tears filling his eyes. She ran towards him and hugged him tightly. "Zihao... You disappeared... I couldn't save you... I'm so sorry!" Marie mumbled softly and Zihao chuckled. "It's alright Marie, things happen for a reason and I know for a fact that the new Zihao is much better in that world."

"I'm confused Zihao.. What happens? What do I do with my feelings?"  Marie whispered, tears now filling her eyes too. "He's just like me Marie, everything will work out and we both know it... Just go for it, believe in yourself, princess." Zihao reassures her with a soft smile and Marie nods.

"Our time here is almost up... I've missed you Marie but I've soon got to go back.. We may see each other soon." Zihao tells the girl who was now crying. "Zihao.. Please don't l-leave me!" Marie lets out a silent sob as Zihao wipes her tears away, kissing her on the forehead.
