"Introduce yourself" Were the first two words I heard on my first day at this crowded school

I walked into the classroom, straight posture and a smile "Hi, I'm- I'm Klara Wintour Stilinski"

"Long name" One shouted with a laugh, he was sat in the back wearing a shirt with paint specks on it- what are you Art Vandelay?

I took off my hoodie and let down my most favorite part of me- my hair. "Long hair"

"Great hair"

I smiled "I didn't come to school to get nitpicked on by somebody who's wearing a 5 year old's art piece as a shirt"

Then the whole class made a mess about that with ooou's, did the girl with the ginger locks hurt your feelings? "All right class settle down" Mrs. Peppine gestured me towards my new seat which just happened to be right in the middle, sandwiched in between Jock one and Jock two, perfect.

I walked into the cafeteria, scanned the whole room and thought to myself where? Where do I make a fool of myself this time? I sighed with the blue food tray in my hand standing in the middle as if I just came back from face surgery or something, was completely being stared and it wasn't the most comforting thing of all coming back from what seems like the dead when really I'm just the new girl plus the only girl with ginger hair.

"Hey new girl!" I heard a shout, oh wow the new name suits me so well what else you have in the bag?

I smiled as real as I could knowing these popular girls just want attention and to pick on somebody new "sit sit" One patted the bench right next to her

"I heard you're like a marine kid and this is your fifteenth new high school so far" Her hair was blond and a little wavy with a scrunchie that looked like the American flag tied around her hair

I shook my head "My mom's a surgeon and she was recruited here to be the chief of general surgery- you know cuts into your abdomen and stuff" I looked at their faces and I guess they don't do well with minimal gruesome details, such weaklings I grew up with this stuff it doesn't bug me

"Oh, that's gr-awesome, awesome. I'm Gen with a G, that's Lola, and Penelope you can come hang with us until you find your inner you" She said the last part as if I was a lost kid, maybe I am at the school but socially not. I know where I belong and that's not here

I nodded blinking a few times trying to check if this really just happened "Cool"

I was finding my way towards Forensics, it's supposed to be around here somewhere or so the map says. This first day officially sucks, I've got three months left of junior year before it's summer and I'm fucking up so badly, Bad Luck! I walked, looked at the map then the rooms, I heard yelling but I didn't mind since I thought it was just a fight and I wasn't interested in being the school punch bag, not today maybe another year if I were up to it.

"You're breaking up with me because your sister is following what your mom wanted her to do in college and that's what you want too? You're not even there yet. Lara Jean" I stood there stuck and wanting to move but I just couldn't, couple fights are frightening

"I'm sorry Peter, sometimes we have to let the things we want go for the things that we need more" Poetic, this Lara Jean broke up with one of the cutest guys I've seen so far in a way you'd only read in books

"Lara Jean, it'll come but-" And she ran towards me and to who knows where

Peter looked at me, my back against the locker as I slid down to the floor and groaned. I really was caught eavesdropping on what could've been the most terrible heartbreak of all, I shut my eyes at how bad this day has gotten. I'm the only red head here, I'm the new kid, I'm the kid who eavesdrops! I'm that kid.
