I gulped hard and I can just imagine how I looked. My face was flushed and tears were already getting ready to spill. I tried to avoid eye contact with him at all costs. I didn't want him seeing me like this, and he wanted to talk?!
I nodded looking down. He let go of my wrist and I frowned. I had felt a warth when he touched me. The same warmth we shared when we were both happy. We walked outside and sat at a table that no one was around. I can't believe I'm talking to him now. Now, of all the times I could've. His voice breaks my thoughts.
"I know about you and Liam texting." I nodded and sighed. "I know he told me you knew." I said weakly. I wanted to look up but I just couldn't. I didn't have the guts to look him in the eyes. Those striking green eyes..."Look, I know you're mad, but---" Harry cuts me off. "I'm not mad." I looked up at him slowly staring into his eyes.
"You're not?" He smiled a toothless grin and shook his head. "No. Because I know Liam. And I know you." I looked down tearing my eyes away from eyes. "What does that have to do with anything?" I played with my thumbs. "I know you wouldn't fall for each other. The only thing I was worried about was not seeing you again." He reached for my hand but I pulled it away and rolled my eyes.
"Do you ever think about what you did to me?" I closed my eyes and inhale deeply. He began to speak but I cut him off. "No. I get to talk this time. You left and you told me you'd come back. Watching you on X Factor, praying for you to get through. Then when you lost I was expecting you to come home. But you didn't. You never came back." I full on sobbing now. Wiping away my tears and sniffling I looked up at him. "You hurt me." His lower lip was quivering and a glassy effect on his eyes.
"I had to move to London for a job just hoping I wouldn't see you. I didn't want to face what had left me behind. I had to get out of Holmes Chapel because I thought of you everyday, Harry. We grew up together playing on the zipline down the street." I smiled remembering us as kids. Spending our summers together. "Then we bacame a couple. Everybody told us that they knew-they knew it was meant to be..the hardest part is that I believed it too."
I sniffled and let tears fall down my face. I looked up at him and saw that he had a few tears also. He took my hand. "I'm so sorry Hanna." I smiled. "It's too late for apologies." He looked down and nodded.
Right as I was about to say goodbye, Liam texted me.
From: Liam
Dinner with the lads at our place? :/
I looked at Harry and he was biting his lower lip. "I'm gonna be seeing you a lot, aren't I?" He chuckled for the first time in years. Or at least that Iv'e heard him in person. Harry probably knew I was texting Liam.
To: Liam
Yeah I guess. You knew about Harry, didn't you?
In less than a few seconds, I got a text back.
From: Liam
Uhh...yeh.
I sighed and glanced at Harry who was tapping his fingers on the table. I always used to have a weird obsession with his fingers. I tried to hide my smile.
To: Liam
Okay. I'll get Harry to drive. Thank god for radio to release awkwardness.
I turned my phone off and stood. Harry stood right after. "Goodb--" I cut him off and grabbed my bag. "You're driving me to Liam's flat." I said while walking off. He hesitated and then followed me. "Okay."

(HARRY'S POV)
The talk with Hanna made me realize how bad she felt. How much I hurt her. I had never thought about it. Hurting her, I mean. I glanced at her and she was looking out the window. I knew when she did that she was thinking. Thinking hard about something.
She looked very fit like she always did, but you could see her tiredness in her eyes. The radio commercials stopped and music started to play. My eyes widen once the voice started singing. My hand reached to turn it off and my hand met Hanna's.
We looked at each other for a few seconds. Her blue eyes complimented her brown hair perfectly. Then I coughed and we let each others hands go.
That song that was playing was our song.
John Mayer's..
