''What if life could carry on forever?......." I said, "What if life never died?....." I asked again as I received no reply, " What if life could be preserved?....." Still Mother didn't reply I turned around, she was still asleep on the bed "Mother! Why aren't you answering me?!" I shook her by the shoulders but she wouldn't get up "Mother! Please wake up!!" I shook her a bit harder, "MOTHER!!"
Benjamin Hari's P.O.V
I awoke to a scream in the night, getting up rather hurriedly I ran to the source of the noise, It was coming from Becky's room. I forced the door open to see her sat on her bed, trembling and muttering things unknown. Going over to her I put my arm around her and she softened up a bit.
"What happened?" I asked
"I had a nightmare, It was the same day Mother died..." She replied not taking her eyes off the wall opposite her bed.
Mother had died when we were 6. Going unnoticed at the time, she died in her sleep. We thought she was asleep, we got the Doctor as she still wouldn't wake up. He broke the news to us that she had died, we couldn't sleep for months.
Father had left us a long time ago and we didn't want to be adopted by someone we didn't know, so we wandered around in our house pretending Mother was still alive, then Adebi, Becky's bestie, saw what happened and persuaded her own parents to take care of us as if we also were their children.
It was five o'clock in the morning and Becky stood up, "Where are you going? It's only five o'clock." I said to which she simply countered with: " I'm getting ready for the day!" She walked out of the room and into the bathroom. Guess I've got to get ready.
Becky Wilson's P.O.V
He doesn't understand I was the one with the closest bond, Mother was the best person ever, I am grateful towards the Kadis Family for taking me in and all but, I feel alone, Ben is my brother, the only other family member still alive, Father left shortly after Mother died. He said 'It's for a reason' though he never stated what.
I walked in my closet and started to changed into:
