Can I love a Pharaoh?

Imagine coming in a room that belongs to a messy teenager.So basically what you see are posters everywhere around the room, posters on the wall, posters on door,posters on closets. What is weird is that the posters are only of one person,personthat beautiful,that is very very hard to describe, you can't even imagine it. I mean him.Maybe you've seen him in movies or maybe you have dreamt of him, but you have never seen him in person or even talk to him,if you are a fan.His name is Rami Malek. But I'll leave that for later. Now let's get back to a room that you're in. As it belongs to a messy teenage girl, you can see clothes on the floor and you can barely walk. And then you hear something. It sounds like mother and daughter fighting because that's what it is. The messy teen in which room you are, is fighting with her mother about cleaning her room. She is lazy and doesn't want to do it, because she claims that she can find everything what she needs in that mess.In that fight you heard her name,Matea.What a beautifull name. You can hear that the teen is coming towards room angrily. You're trying to find a place to hide, but you cannot find anything. So you just stand there frozen like nothing can move you,because you're so afraid of what the teen is going to do when she sees you in her room standing. She steps in the room and starts cleaning as you figure out that she can not see you. You are not sure what to do, so you move and sit on the chair next to you and just watch her clean the messy floor. Matea starts picking up the clothes that is on floor and putting it on a bed. She opens a closet and starts putting some of the clothes in. As you see the closet you think to yourselft hat it hasn't been used in a long long time and it is true she didn't open that closet for about 2 or 3 years. She notices how there is a crack in the closet. She starts opening the crack more and more until she notices something so beautiful that she couldn't breathe for a while. A beautiful landscape shows before her eyes. Something so beautiful that hasn't been seen for thousands of years. She eagerly steps in full of excitement and has no idea what is waiting her there.  So as the girl steps out she sees  big pyramids from a far away. Matea is astonished with what she sees. She almost fell down on the floor but something holds her. As she turns away just to see a man with a falcon head. One of her passions were Egyptian gods so the minute she turned away she knew that was Horus,God of the sky. Horus picked her up and whispered in her ear."Stay calm.Don't be afraid,you're going where you belong." By the time she figured out what was happening,they were already in the air flying.They weren't flying for long time,but the place where they came was so beautiful. It was a palace,a beautiful ancient Egypt style palace.It was a palace of pharaoh named Ahkmenrah. Horus gently let her down on the floor in front of a palace and said to her that she needs to wait outside just for a quick second. He quickly went inside of the palace as the girl was still confused but also very very excited as well. Then just couple more seconds after he went in Horus walks out of the palace, but this time someone was walking with him as well. Beside him it was one and only pharaoh Ahkmenrah. Matea was staring at them for a couple of seconds and then she passed out, and we do know the reason. The pharaoh look the same way as Rami Malek,which she adored very much. Maybe it was coincidence, maybe it was destiny. We do not know. Ahkmenrah ran towards her very quickly and took her in his arms back to palace. By then Horus already disappeared in heights of the blue magnificent sky.Back inside of palace.Ahkmenrah walked towards her and set on the bed."Is this real?",Matea asked. He looked at her as he knew she wasn't from this time. "I brought you some clothes so you can change.You are my guest,for now.", he replied very very shiley. They definitely had a moment back there.They were looking in each other's eyes like they have met before,but he moved away from her very very slowly and went out of the room so she can change."What the hell is happening in here?!",she was very confused,but at the same time very happy and excited. "Am I going nuts?! But he's so pretty and magnificent and so unreal.I better get dressed just in case this isn't a dream."Matea didn't know what to do,but something in her was driving her to do something. So she slipped in a beautiful,but also comfortable dress he left for her. She didn't know what to do,so she went out of the room just to find two men standing in front of the door.She asked them where the pharaoh is.They replied to her,that she needed to get inside the room and wait for the pharaoh to come.So she left,because she didn't know what to do all alone without her beloved pharaoh. Matea started to wonder and search the room.Maybe she will find something interesting and maybe not.She was searching and searching,but didn't find anything, because someone entered the room.She could smell the warm and salty food that the maid was carrying. Pharaoh send this for you,he asked if you could wait for him before you eat.He would be honored to eat with you.The servant went out and Matea was still in shock.She couldn't believe that pharaoh would want to eat with her. Matea is still in shock,but she notices that the doors are slowly opening.She turned away and then she saw him.The light in her dark.Sound to her picture.Akhmenrah walk towards her and said gently:"Do you want to sit here or on the other side?The cook made some Egyptian specialties.said shyly "Oh let's eat... Hear try this it is very delicious." he gently took a piece of food and approach it to her lips. Matea smiled and took a bite. "Uhm, I like it a lot,it is very tasty,like nothing from my world."Akhmen smiled and started looking in her beautiful long blonde hair and blue-green eyes. He smiled when Matea gave him a bite of the same delicious meal. They continued their dinner, and by time they loosened up a bit. So Akhmen stood up and took Matea's arm."Come, I want to show you something." they went outside on something looking like a big balcony of our era. But before he showed her the beautiful view from the balcony he said to her:"Close your eyes and when you open them up I promise you you will be amazed." he led her to the balcony and then they sit on a soft chair."Open them up..." he said gently. As she opens her eyes Matea sees such a beautiful sight. Dark blue sky,many,many stars and a beautiful full moon which happens to be red at this time."What a beautiful site. I've never seen something like this back home..." she was astonished. They started talking about their lives more and more. By the end of every sentence they knew much more stuff about each other,like for example,that they were both the same age.Age 18. They both had differences with their parents.Akhmen for example lost his parents at age 16 and had to rule hole Egypt,all alone with no one to guide him.When on the other hand,Matea was in feud with her parents especially from Mum they were so different,but then again so similar,so stubborn.Akhmen found out that Matea loves Egyptian mythology,Egyptian gods,Egyptian culture. So Akhmen started to tell her a story and believes of Egypt.All night long they talked and talked and talked like they had all time of this world.And they fell asleep in each other's arms on the softchair. No one bother them, no one woke them up, except of the Sun when itstarted to rising. When he walked up,Akhmen gently went through her hair with hisfingers to wake her up."Morning sunshine..." he added."I orderedthe Cook to prepare a special breakfast for us. They are going to bring itsoon.Are you hungry? I don't want them to keep you waiting." he was socaring."Ohh, really not even you?!" she said smiling."No, noteven me.You're too valuable to me. No one can't hurt you or even disobey you.You are my queen, you're my capturer, you imprisoned my heart. I'll make surethey all the same to you." she was looking in her eyes when he was tellingher,ascribing her how he felt. They heard a knock on the door, that was theServant girl. She brought the breakfast."Let's eat, you must be hungry ofall the talking we did." she smiled to him as she was talking."Justtalking sadly..." he smiled when Matea punched him gently in the arm forthat comment."Alright,alright I'll be good. Let's eat,you need yourstrength for today. We are going to work today a lot. I'll show you the place Irule,people that I care for,the place I was born,the place I live and the placeI'll someday die." he finished. "Ohh, really. Aren't you afraid ofwhat they are going to comment on me?"Matea replied.2"You are goingto be there Queen one day, if you choose of course.But,you know you will haveto choose..." he finished with the fear in his eyes."Choose what?You?" true replied as fast as she could."You no you weren't bornhere, you aren't of this world."Akhmen was explaining with a worry on hisface."Don't worry, i'm just dreaming, but I'm so hoping this dream lastforever" Matea replied. "I have to tell you that you're not dreaming.You saw the red moon yesterday, that is the key of passing to your promisedplace. Your rightful place. And it is beside me and as ruler of Egypt with me.I always knew,in my heart, that none of the women from this Kingdom or not mypromised, not the one that's gonna love me for who I am. But when Horus showedme a vision, a vision of you. Sad thing is that the red moon only appears incouple hundred years. And it lasts only two days. The red moon opened doors toyou, to your promised life.Don't take it for granted. You have 8 hours left tochoose. I need you, you have my heart, you have my soul. If you leave I die outof sadness. I know you have family and friends that love you and you love them.Because of that it is a hard choice. And I'm gonna give you some time to thinkabout it... He stood up and left the room,but before he went out,he give Mateakiss on a cheek.Matea was left in the room to think. She tried to sleep,justfor a moment, but she just couldn't close her eyes without seeing her friendsback home. She couldn't take it anymore, so she went outside on a balcony tobreathe some fresh air. She went outside and just watched the beautiful naturearound her.Matea wanted but she could have her friends right now to talk. Soshe started crying, and crying. Eventually she sat down on the chair and juststared into nothingness. She was like that for a couple of hours,she lost thetrack of time. She was suffering, and her loving you that. So in order to helpher he invited Horus to help her. Horace came to Matea and said:"Come with me, I have something to show you." he took her arm and spread his wings.They were gone in just a split of a second.Horus gently lowered her down on thesand. She remembered instantly where they were. That was the place where shefirst came in out of the closet into this world."Why are we here?! I don'twant to go! Not yet!"Matea was afraid that's you have to leave Akhmenrah.Horus started to explain what would happen to her world when she orif she stays in this one. Basically, there was a lot of physics and weird stuffabout universe involved. But the point was that her world will have to move onwithout her. Currently the time in her world,stopped. Until the red moon isover and the choice is made."There is only one hour leftdecide."Horus reminded her." I want to stay with him, but what was my friend..." she was thinking out loud."That it's only you, but justno, you belong here. Your world isn't capable to accept your knowledge of theuniverse, your understanding of it. You were born in the wrong era. I want youto see every memory from your world and people that you love." said Horus.He has seen many pictures. She's seen her best friends Ines and Ena. Two peopleshe loved the most and two people that loved her back. She has seen bitsmemories of her family."See, you have something to live for there. Butnow, say to me, what do you feel when you think about living here, aboutAkhmenrah." Horus said to Matea. She felt like she is living a dream. Shefelt like she truly belonged here. That got her thinking, about how she feelswhen she thinks of her world back home. Something,she feels something,but not even close to what she felt before."So, I see you have made your choice."Horus said happily."I, I don't know what to say..." she mumbled. "I'll leave you here for some time.I will come when the time is right to say goodbyeor hello to your new life. But, I already believe that you made yourchoice."Horus moved his wings and flown away. Matea set down on the floorand smiled. Her thoughts were on her friends, how would they react to see herin this magnificent place. She got an idea. She has always felt like Ines andEna are a part of her. They are a family, you're even more. They can't stay awake. Not for long at least. They are connected and they are one! She made her choice... Akhmenrah was sitting on a balcony. Waiting and waiting, and worrying."What choce did she make?!" he was very anxious. Red moon is almost gone, the choice must be done. And then out of nowhere, he saw her. Beautiful blonde, lovely girl walking towards the palace. It was Matea. She stayed. "My love!" he yelled.Akhmen was so relieved. But then he noticed something else. She wasn't alone.Horus what's flying above her and gave Akhmen the look. The look that said that he better come down quickly.Akhmen rushed towards the door, you could see him running towards Matea. But Horus stopped him."What is it?!"Akhmen yelled angrily."The moon is not over yet. There are conditions if she stays. What we didn't see in visions is that her soul is split and bound onto more. If you want her to stay, you need to accept her two friends and bounded soles. She made a choice, now you have one. You need to accept them as her sisters and promised to protect them and keep them close to her. In the palace they must stay"Hours finished and gave the word to Akhmen."I will accept them,of course I will. Everything for my beloved queen." he smiled to Matea. They all settled in the palace,except of Horus of course. And then Ahmenrah took Matea's arm and whispered in her ear:"Come, that walk among the people of Giza. Let them see and meet their justice queen and pharaoh.

And that was a little journey of Matea Škvorc, a messy teenager from a little village called Belica.I wrote a story till the moment she found and thought for her love. Now, she write her own story with her best friends Ines and Ena, her beloved pharaoh Akhmenrah and their beautiful children.
