When I left the ladies room, the stalker was standing right outside the ladies restroom. I hurried back to the theater where Sherlock was waiting. After the movie, he decided to take me to the park where we had solved the case about my sister, who was murdered.
“Elizabeth, I have something I need to ask you.” He said.
Oh no, I thought. He’s breaking up with me. I started to panic. What would I do without him? My life felt complete when he was around. But then, the complete opposite happened. He knelt on one knee, taking my hands in his.
“I know we’ve only known each other for a little while, but I love you. You are the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. Will you, Elizabeth Cumberbatch, do me the extraordinary honor of becoming my wife?”
My hands flew to my mouth. I nodded. He smiled, stood up and put a beautiful ring with a large emerald on the top on my finger. I started crying.
“Why are you crying? I thought you would be happy.” He said, worried.
“ I am, Sherlock. These are tears of joy!”
A huge grin spread across his face and he hugged me with all the love he could possibly muster.
