Ishra FF- A Contract of DIVORCE

PART 8

Next day, Raman is still sleeping while Ishita is ready for the day and packing her bags with moist eyes.
After finishing her packing, she sits near her sleeping husband and watching him continuously with love. Feeling someone gaze, he opend his eyes and saw Ishita sitting near him. He smiled to see her and last night incident flashed in his mind. He hold her hands and said Ishita thank you for understanding the reason behind not continuing the contract.
Ishita replied him calmly, Raman you yourself named our relationship as contract even after a year of our marriage then how can I expect from you to continue this relationship. It will be better for both of us only. Now get up fast, we are getting late for submitting the divorce papers. He got up and opened his cupboard to take clothes when he asked, Ishita where are your clothes?
I- she pointed him at her suitcase and said here. After submitting the papers, we will reveal to our parents about the divorce and I will go to my house
R- he came near to her and hold her hands and said, Ishita I will miss you so much. You know na how much you matters to me, so you have to take care of yourself as I know how careless you are when it comes to your health
I- shhh... Raman. You don't have to take tension of mine anymore. Now, you just have to focus on your career and I hope one day you will get your love with whom you can spend your entire life.
R- why are you saying like this, I am still your friend, if not husband. I will take tension if you feel unwell. So you have to take care of your health.
I- ok... I will. Now go and get ready
R- Ishita... I want to say one thing more to you and hope you will not get depress listening to it
I- hmm.. no I will not get depressed. Tell me
R- Ishita I always want a partner compatible to me  in terms of hobbies, likes, dislikes etc. You are an ideal woman for any man but with whom you are compatible. Like you, I also hope that you will get a partner who would love you truly and wholeheartedly.
I- Raman... Now go please... We are getting late

Raman left for having a bath.

Ishita had been controlling her tears in front of him but as soon as he left, she sat on the bed and cried loudly. She put her palm on mouth to control her sobs. She does want Raman to find that he is her weakness as she doesn't want him to live in a guilt that he broke her heart.

She wiped her tears when she heard sound of opening the bathroom door and without turning to him, she left the room.

After getting ready, Raman came downstairs and had dinner with his family. Raman told his family that they are going for a small drive and left.

Both reached the court and submitted the papers and their lawyer told them that they are divorced now and with in two or three days, official papers will reached to you. Hearing this, Ishita and Raman both felt shattered.

Ishita because she is losing her love and Raman because he is losing his best friend and she will not be near him anymore.

In car,
I- Raman how we will tell our parents about it
R- don't worry, they will understand that it is better to separate instead of living in a loveless marriage.
I- hopefully. She then looking outside thinking about how she will live without Raman making her eyes moist.
R- what happened Ishita, why are you so silent.
I- nothing like this Raman.. just enjoying the weather
R- Don't lie Ishita... I can see sadness in your eyes. I know you told me that you loved me but Ishita it's not love, it can be infatuation as we were living together for a year. As soon as we separate, may be you, yourself realised that it was not love.
I- she got angry that he named her love as infatuation. She can accept that he doesn't love her but can't accept that he is insulting her love.
Please Raman.... Drive fast... I am not going to explain my feelings to you now.
R- relax Ishita.. I don't mean like that
I- I don't want to hear anything... Just Drive fast
R- he doesn't want to stretch the topic so he kept quiet and drives towards home.

Bhalla house
Both reached home and informed Mr. And Mrs. Bhalla about their divorce.
They got shocked and shouted,
Do you know, what you both are saying. Just yesterday, we were happily celebrated your marriage anniversary and now you both filed a divorce.
R- yes papa... Me and Ishita already decided before the marriage that we will separate after a year of our marriage if we dont find each other compatible
Mrs. Bhalla- so what is compatibility for you puttar?? She is a girl who will stand by you for the entire life. She cares and loves you a lot. What more you want from her.
And you Ishita, I have seen his care and love for you whenever you fall ill or you have some problem. What you want more from him.

Ishita was silent because she has no answer. She is in love with him but still can't reveal to their parents that she wants this marriage to work because if they got to know they will pressurize Raman to accept her. She doesn't want Raman's love out of guilt or pressure.
I- (rudely) maa-papa... Now my own family is well settled and secured so I don't think I need to continue to live here anymore. I married Raman just to support my family and now I don't want that.
All got shocked especially Raman because he knows Ishita is saying just to protect him from his parents.
He came forward to say that Ishita is lying but Ishita ran towards their room without saying anything further.

Raman also follows her,
R- what is that Ishita... Why you lied
I- it was needed because you were right that our parents will force us to continue the relationship but I don't want this out of force. So now, no one will force you to be with me.
R- but this is not the way Ishita... Now maa-papa will think about you as gold digger
I- it's completely alright with me... Now I should leave.
She takes her suitcase and left the Bhalla Mansion.

What will be Iyer's reaction??
