Taping up the last box and putting it in the big moving truck I walked back into the now empty house. Just as I entered, my mom trudged down the stairs with the keys to the house spinning them on her finger.

"Okay I think thats everything, lets get the show on the road", my mom states.

While I walk back outside to the car and hop in the backseat, as my mom locks up the house and walks over to the guys that drive the moving truck, telling them she's going to make one last stop before we head over to the new house 12 hours away that my twin brother and dad are waiting at for us.

So should be loads of fun to be stuck in a car with my mom for 12 hours, not. Don't get me wrong I love my mom but if she is stuck in a car for more than a few hours she gets really.... grumpy.

* 12 hours later*

As soon as the car stopped in the driveway of the new two story light grey with white trim house I literally jumped out of the car (not even kidding) and laid down on the ground screaming "I am never going to step foot in the same car as that women ever again!"

Right after I said that I heard my dad's chuckle sound from the left. "You should try being married to her!"

"What did you say hun" , my mom questioned my dad with a smrik.

"Oh just telling the kids how much you mean to me and that my love for you is endless!"

"Good answer no come help me get the stuff out of the car and into the house."

My brother and I snickered at my dads failed attempt of a cover up. I sigh as we go and start taking the boxes and furniture out of the moving truck and my mom's car. Hope this school is better than the last.
