chapter four

    Jack ran down the building and looked around but there was no one.He ran down the block but still nothing. He runs to where he found Ruby but still no sign of her or Alice.

He ran back to the building where they slept in hope to find clues.Walking around on every floor.He just about to lose hope when he found a man in a white hoodie walking down the hall on the 5th floor.

Jack called out to him.

"HEY!" he said boldly, "WHERE ARE THEY".

The man stoped in his pace.A moment of silence past until the man broke the silence with a small chuckle. Then the chuckle slowly turned in to a loud psycho laugh.

A chill went down Jack's spine.The man turned around. Jack was horrified of the sight of this man.His skin was as white as his hoodie, he had black rings around his eyes, but worst of all he had a carved in smile on his face.The man started trying to stop laughing.

"h-hi i'm jeff"the man said.

his voice was rough but you can tell he was holding back a laugh.

"and the little girl and your girlfriend are on their way to bed and you look tired you sould GO TO SLEEP. "

The man pulled out a knife from his hoodie pocket and started laughing again. He ran towards Jack.Jack tried to run but before he could lift his feet Jeff was on top of him.

Jack closed his eyes accepting his death.He heard a clash of metal.He felt jeff get off of him.He opened his eyes and saw a woman in the room holding a knife.she had white skin like jeff.she had straight black hair a short black dress and had pitch black eyes.

she said to jeff "now it is your turn to go to sleep".

she lunged at Jeff but jeff made a swift movement and knocked the woman's knife out of her hand.

"not today jane."jeff said

He put his knife in Jane's heart.Jane fell to the floor and was bleeding out slowly. jeff laughed at the sight. As jeff was laughing Jack picked up Jane's knife and snuck up behind jeff.Jack stabbed the knife in jeff's spine.Jeff stoped laughing and fell to the floor.Jack watched jeff for a minute h as of expecting him to get back up.

"you did it"jane said"he is finally dead, take his knife it will come in handy"

Jack did as she said and picked up his knife. He watched jane die.He heard something from the room behind him.

He opened the door and found Ruby and alice tied up type to a chair.he cut them loose and again alice jumped up and hugged Jack but what surprise Jack was when Ruby jumped up and hugged him.Jack blushed.

"I knew you would save us"Ruby said.

Jack's blush even more.

"Jack and Ruby sitting in a tree"alice teased.

They all laughed.they walked out but Jack didn't see the bodys.that's weird he thought to himself.

"What's for breakfast? "Alice said holding her stomach.

"well we should go to my house it's not that far from here"Ruby said.

"well then to ruby's house we go"Jack said.

The three walk two blockes south while alice was singing nursery rhythms.when they got there Ruby looked unhappy As if the sight brought pain full memories.Then Jack remembered about Ruby's wrists. When they got inside Jack made pancakes.

while Alice was eating her pancakes Jack asked Ruby to talk in the other room.

"what's up"Ruby asked.

"well when I found you your wrists were bleeding and I found the grimm reaper about to take you"Jack said

Ruby's face darkened.

"why were your wrist bleeding? "Jack asked.

"well....."Ruby said.
