Cole wakes up in a forest to see that he's already got company. Danger Beasts are surrounding him which surprises him. He's never seen such creatures back in his world. Nevertheless he gets in his fighting stance and readies himself for combat.

"I guess this really isn't my world." He finishes beating the beasts in a few seconds. He shocks them with lightning bolts stunning them, and pushes them with Nightmare Blast, a really powerful shockwave.

"These creatures were too easy. And that is surprising to say." He dusts himself off as he walks to where he thinks the Capital is located. He kept wondering blindly until he heard footsteps not that far from him.

"Who's there?" Cole says. The person did not call back so Cole activates his psychic vision which can see through bushes, buildings, and much more. He saw an outline of a girl which makes Cole mentally facepalm because the girl still thinks she's hidden from him.

"I know you're there so step out where I can see you, now." The girl doesn't come out so Cole decides to switch methods. "I tried to ask ya nicely but if you want to stay still I'll make you come out."

He sparks up lightning and he throws a sticky bomb which as he anticipated made the girl blow her cover. As she got out of her hiding spot she made a run for it which didn't work because Cole zapped her legs and put her in restraints.

"You could've listened ya know lady." He said smirking. The lady faces him with pink hair covering her face but leaving her reddish pink irises peeking through them. And her headphones fell off when she tripped.

"And YOU could've minded your own business jerk." She says glaring at him.
"Do have any idea who you're messing with?" Cole shrugs in boredom which irritates her. "Well you're an idiot."

"And you're annoying. But you don't hear me complain." Cole says in annoyance. "I guess this world IS filled with surprises." Cole starts walking away which results in the girl getting mad, and scared.

"HEY LET ME GO BAKA!" She screams. Cole stares at her with confusion and annoyance evident in his face. "Look lady calm down. I'll let you go if you tell me one thing?" The lady calms herself and nods her head.

"Okay." She agreed. "But you promise you'll let me go right?" She asked with a serious face. Cole nods his head and she lets him speak.

"Do you know where is the nearest city? I'm kinda new here." The lady seemed surprised but nevertheless answered. "Just keep heading north."

Cole unties her and she slaps him with full force which leaves a mark on his left cheek. This enraged Cole a little bit.
"I would have preferred a thank you." He says bitterly.

The girl turns around and stomps away. "Don't worry I won't see you again." She says.

"I better not or else next time you're restrain you ain't getting out." He warns.

Cole makes it to the Capital and he is filled with surprise again. He sees sick people in the streets. Some of the people aren't wearing any clothes, just rags. It smells like death too. Buildings are damaged just like the people are.

"I can tell this place is wonderful already, a paradise." He said with sarcasm. As he tried ignoring people begging for change a few thugs surrounded him. Cole stops as six of them, three each coving front and back, pull out knives and old revolvers.

"Hand over everything you've got baldy." One says. Cole didn't seem threatened. It did remind him of Empire City though. "What are you deaf or what!"

Cole sparks himself up which scares the thugs. He hasn't felt like this since Empire City since Reapers would pull the same stunt as these idiots. Cole felt a little nostalgic from this scenario.

"Look I ain't deaf. And I know you just asked for my belongings. What kind of morons are you people? Asking for my stuff and thinking I'll give it to you too? This city is dumber than it looks." He said.

The thugs were enraged as one with a gun tried to pull a trigger, but instead he and his whole group felt their body temperature lowering. They look to find themselves frozen all the way up to their necks.

"You ain't gonna pull the trigger now dumbass. Now I think it's best you all cool off while authorities will come and thaw you out later. In the meantime I'll scope around this stinking place a bit longer. I'll catch ya later." Cole said as he bids farewell to the frozen thugs.

"He can use ice and lightning? Interesting."

"Miss Esdeath? I think we have ourselves another ice user somewhere around the Capital." Run informs. "Apparently he also uses lightning too." Run says intrigued.

Esdeath was also intrigued. Another ice user for her to put down and show him his place? She likes the sound of that. She wonders if he's with the revolution or her side. Even if he was on her side she would still like to fight him.

"Interesting, he has the same teigus as me and General Budo himself. What's his name? Does he have a name?" She inquired.

"I don't know his name, but he just arrived here and already he had his first fight. There were witnesses saying a man in a blue shirt and bald head fought off against six thugs. They were frozen up to their necks."

Esdeath looked disappointed. She thought he would kill intruders with his power. She knows she would've. She tells Run to see if he can and find the baldy. Meanwhile she is thinking of her beloved Tatsumi while Run left for duty.

"While Run looks for him, I'm still looking for you, mate."
