The break of dawn, was just long gone.
The cool of the morning, the sprout of the day.
The day is calling, the light makes it way.
Time isn't frozen, nothing moves in slow motion.
The earth has woken, everything is in formation.
5 am mother's awake, breakfast is made.
Children do chores, outside and indoors.
Papas off to work, on the fence chickens perch.
Cows to milk, chickens to tend.
Cotton, silk clothes to mend.
Goats to tye out, seeds to sprout.
Prickled grass, plantain shoots.
Dirty mass, leather boots.
Dirty aprons, fresh bread.
Busy maidens, rumbled beds.
Dirty clothes, plenty laundry.
Mucky roads, 2 hours plumbing.
Little brush, big easel.
Red flush, painting of people. Many pictures, many sketch.
