((Here is a pic of Ailey!

A year has gone by.

A year of loneliness.

A year of sadness.

A year of being cursed.

Jewel galloped through the vast field full of gorgeous flowers of multiple colors. She had gotten used to this new life of hers. A life of permanently being a unicorn.

Sure there were upsides to this. A gorgeous area she could freely roam around without worrying about people. So far Sebastian hasn't bothered her either.

However, there are also downsides. She missed being a person. Petting animals, brushing her hair, not to mention all the beautiful women she can't see anymore. It's been so long since she's seen another person, let alone someone she was attracted to. The last person she has set her eyes on was Sebastian. Who wants that creep to be the last person that they've seen in a year.

Oh well.

Sometimes you just have to deal with how things are.

After all, to Jewel's knowledge there's no way to reverse this unless the sorcerer who cast it undoes it.

So, she's come to terms with this. With the fact she'll be a unicorn forever. It's not a horrible way to live. She has animal friends so she's not totally lonely. She doesn't have to worry about not having any food either. Thank the gods she can live on a unicorns diet.

After galloping for a bit she stopped at a small pond.

Good. She needed some water.

She brought her head down to the water and began to drink.

The water felt nice in her mouth. It would be perfect to swim in. Swimming. All she had to do was she'd her clothes and then she could take a dip.

Seeing her reflection in the pond crushed that dream. A unicorn. A unicorn can't skinny dip like she was daydreaming of doing.

She blew a puff of air out of her nose and laid next to the pond.

It was a little cheesy, but she wished so very hard for a knight in shining armor right now. She always loved fairy tales as a child so maybe a true loves kiss would fix this. A beautiful woman finding her and giving her a kiss. Gods, that sounded like a dream come true.

Ailey scurried around her small house frantically as she made sure to get everything she might need while visiting her brother. It's been awhile since she's seen him, but she doesn't doubt that something might explode on accident due to magic so she needs anything and everything just in case of those worst case scenarios.

She tied her dark hair up into a bun and grabbed her suitcase after checking it a million times. She let out a soft sigh before waving her hand in the air and teleporting to her brother's home.

Ailey knocked on her brother's door and she was answered with a smile and a hug.

"Oh I missed you, Ailey!!!!" Sebastian exclamed joyfully. No one made him happier than his sister.

She smiled and said, "I missed you too, Seb! I need to visit more often."

He ended the hug and said, "Yes you do! I miss my younger sister bossing me around."

Ailey chuckle and didn't reply. She just walked inside so she could out her suitcase up. If she wasn't able to teleport, there's no doubt that she'd want to go and lay down. It's a long journey from her home to Sebastian's. Thank the gods for magic right?

She dragged her suitcase to the spare room that she usually stays in and put it by the bed. Ailey took a seat on the bed and smiled. It's nice to be back out here in the country. As much as she enjoys being in a big city, there's something about being surrounded by nature that is just amazing.

She's going to have to go out on a walk sometime during this visit. She wants to see what changes might have happened along with her favorite spots.

Maybe she can visit that pond that's not too far from here.
