A Shoulder to cry on ✔️ (Natsu x Gray x Reader)

Comforting

"You know what?! It's over!" Lucy yells and slaps him and storms off.

"What just happened?" I ask myself as I watch Lucy storm off. When she's gone I go over to Natsu who is still in shock.

"Hey..." I say softly and approach him slowly. He doesn't respond. "Natsu...you ok?" I say again softly and place a hand on his shoulder. He grabs my arm firmly but not angrily and looks up at me. He was crying.

"S-she broke up with me...." Natsu cry's. "Why?" He falls on to my chest and I wrap my arms around him and stroke his hair. He pulls me down into the grass so we both are kneeling/sitting on our feet.

"It's ok. Go ahead and cry. I'd cry to if someone broke up with me. Let it out." I say soothingly and he grips on to the back of my shirt and cry's into my chest. Normally I'd be pissed at a guy being on me like this. But he's hurting so I'll let him slide. I can feel the wetness from his tears soaking my shirt.

After a few minutes he starts sniffling. I gently pull away so I can sit down properly. I sit on my butt and stretch my legs in front of me. He never let me go but he allowed me to adjust. When I was comfortable he laid his head down on my lap and buried his face into my stomach. I blush but again let it slide.

"Umm Natsu?"

"Please let me stay like this for a little bit." He says quietly.

"Ok" I reply and run my fingers through his hair gently. I see him smile slightly so I keep doing it. This is oddly relaxing. I keep running my fingers through his hair for a long time. I finally stop and look at him to see his eyes closed. I focus on his breathing to find he's fallen asleep.

"Natsu your hopeless aren't you?" I say out loud and sigh. I look up at the sky and notice the sun is setting.

Wait we are still in school! What if they locked the school? How will we get out?! I start freaking out.

"Natsu. Natsu wake up!" I shout but not very loudly. I see his eyes shoot open and he sits up quickly. He looks at me and where he was just laying and blushes.

"Sorry." He starts.

"Apologize later. We need to go. We are still in school and it's getting dark. I don't know about you but I don't want to spend the night here." I say with panic in my voice.

He starts laughing.

"We won't get stuck here. We are outside. If everything is locked we can climb the gate and get out. Duh!" He says with a big grin.

Cocky brat.

"Fine. Lead the way oh master of the school." I tease and bow at him and he laughs at me.

"Come on then!" He grabs my hand and leads me to a nearby gate. Which amazingly was open still. "See? And you were freaking out." He says cockily and grins at me.

"Oh save it pinky." I tease and grin at him.

"Hey now don't start! I hate that nickname." He pouts and follows me out of the school.

"Sorry Natsu. It just suits you." I smile at him and walk away.

"Hey wait up. After what you did at least let me walk you home." He says shyly
