Same story of It:2017 and with the same characters but it takes place in the present without the dangers of Pennywise the clown.
I had just moved to the town of Derry, Maine and even though it's not the same as sunny California, I am actually somewhat liking it so far. However, I am starting school tomorrow and I'm insanely nervous about all sorts of things. Making friends and what to wear was just making everything so much worse.
I was laying in my bed with the lights turned off trying to sleep, but I couldn't. Thoughts of tomorrow we're taking over my brain and my sleep. Somehow I ended up falling asleep which didn't last long as I woke up listening to the sounds of my alarm. I turn off my phone and get out of bed. I walk over to my closet to try to pick out an outfit. I decided on a pair of light blue mom jeans, a yellow tank top, and a pair of vans. I then went downstairs to eat some breakfast.
"Good morning (Y/N)! Are you excited for your first day?" I hear my Mom say.
"Try not to remind me, but I think it will be ok!" I reply.
I grabbed all of my school stuff and headed out the door. I conveniently lived right by school meaning I could walk. I soon approach Derry High School where I see groups of kids along the entrance. I whip out my schedule to try and find my locker and first period and as soon as I find it I head over the right hall.
"Hey there hotstuff," says a guy with brown curly hair and these funky glasses who was leaning against my locker.
"Don't mind him he's just a trash mouth," says another guy who's shorter with brown and light freckles.
I stood there dumbfounded only to have my thoughts interrupted by
"Anyways I'm Richie Tozier and that's Eddie Kraspbrak," said the boy with glasses who now we know as Richie.
"Oh I'm (Y/N), I just moved from California!" i said back.
"Wow all the way from California. Anyways since you're new you can stick with my friend group, however, I do warn you we are great in status as many people call us the losers," explained Richie.
"Oh wow, but thanks I appreciate it" I said back.
I walk over to my first class which ended up being Science. I walk into the class to find Richie in my class.
"(Y/N) please sit next to Richie and Ellie in the third row" said the teacher.
Both Richie and Ellie waved over to me to come sit by them where I sat down in my chair. I was trying to follow the lesson, but all I could think about was Richie. I thought his glasses were adorable and he seems sweet. I couldn't help but notice that Richie slipped me a note. It read hey do you want to hang out after school today you seem really cool. I couldn't believe it. I quickly wrote back yes.
Time skip to Lunch
I found the Losers sitting by a huge oak tree where I saw that Eddie and Richie waved over to me to come sit. I walk over and Richie starts introducing me to the group and I learned that Bill, Bev, Stan, Mike, and Ben were also part is the losers. They all seemed so nice and I was glad to have such a nice group of friends.
I continued the rest of my day at school, but all I could wait for was my hang out with Richie. I was walking out of school and I suddenly hear a familiar voice yell out..
"hotstuff over here" says Richie.
I walk over the boy who's slightly taller than me and we start walking. We reach his house and we go up to his room. A total mess which really showed his personality. "Ok I know it's messy," blurted out Richie.
I reply with a it's fine and we start talking about all sorts of things. Like my life in California and suddenly I realize that I definitely falling for a trashmouth, but I kinda love it.
"I'm sorry, but I can't keep talking to you when I haven't been completely honest," I told him.
"What is it babe," he says.
First I freak out that he called me babe, and second I need to figure out what to say.
"I don't know how to say this but I kinda like you.." I reply.
"(Y/N) even though this is the first day of me knowing you it feels like we've been talking forever and I want you to know you are very special to me" he says back.
I am just in shock. My first day and already a relationship has started, but I don't even care because it's with trashmouth tozier.
