Myles POV

There's something about Briar that makes me feel ... nervous and on edge. Nobody makes me nervous. So I why am I nervous? I can't wait for her to leave. I only let her stay with me last night because I knew she had no one else. Its no secret that we don't like each other. So I don't see why she would want to stay with me any longer. I'll make her breakfast and then she'll leave, right?

I walk downstairs to the kitchen and start making breakfast. I don't know what kind of food she like so ... what should I make?

"What's cooking?" I hear a voice ask.

"Nothing yet." I say, turning around to see Briar.

"Oh." She says.

"Do you like pancakes?" I ask her.

"Are you kidding? That's like my favourite food." She tells me.

"Great, I'll make that then." I say.

"Do you need help?" Briar offers.

"No thanks." I say.

"After breakfast I can leave, I mean I will leave." Briar tells me.

"Are you sure? You can stay with me if you are worried about getting attacked." I offer, for some reason I feel like I should at least ask.

"I know you don't like me, so you don't need to offer this." Briar says, sweetly.

"Is it that obvious?" I ask.

"I don't blame you for hating me. In LA all the boys through themselves all over me, and I didn't like it. So I was mean to them, that way they would back off. Last night, when all your friends were pushing me and you together it felt like I was back in LA all over again." She admits.

"I understand now. I used to have a girlfriend, Dylan, her and I broke up a while ago, but ever since my friends have been trying to set me up with other girls. No matter how many times I tell them I don't want a girlfriend they won't stop. Its kind of annoying." I explain.

"Ugh, I know how you feel. But they're your friends and they're just trying to make you happier." Briar tells me.

"True that." I say.

"So tell me, have you lived here your whole life or ... ?" Briar asks.

"Yeah, I have lived here forever. I travel a lot though, with the cast." I tell her.

"Oh, so you dance too? I am a dancer and an actor too. Isn't it funny how we actually have a lot in common?" Briar says.

Briar and I talk for hours and eat pancakes, I am actually enjoying myself. Maybe Briar isn't as bad as I first thought she was.
