/Chapter one/:

(Y/n)'s pov:
Walking out the hotel. I looked at the other side, 3 children ran pass me while laughing. I smiled but it vanished as I saw a black van block their way to the other side of the road.

The van's door opened as a woman with a man talked with the children. A child smiled as the woman looked at me. Her nose scrunched up as she gently pushed the minors in the van as the door closed. I stick my tongue out as they drove off.

*Ring* *Ring*. I picked my phone up and it was 5:00. 30 minutes left. I pressed the call button "Yellow-Where the fuck are you?-infront of the café and I'm coming inside-you better hurry up" I scoffed and ended the call. I went inside and looked for my partner, I saw him sitting on a desk at a far corner close to a window. I smiled, he rolled his eyes.

Walking towards him. I sat on a chair close to him and began. 'So who are we gonna kill today, Jake?' I signed. He gave me a paper, I looked at it. 'Amy Brown? Isn't that the bookkeeper?' I looked at him, not interested and this is gonna be boring because of her being easy to kill. 'Let's just finish the job..'

A waiter walked towards us and asked for our order. I asked for a strawberry smoothie and Jake a mug of mocha. The waiter nodded as they left towards the counter. I placed a palm on my chin.

I started to imagine things out of the ordinary. I can feel Jake staring at me, and this made me look at him with a "what" face. He raised a brow. What the hell are you looking at??' I signed and scrunched up my nose. I'm not looking at you, idiot..' He signed as I blinked. My face heated.

That's why you should think before you do, (Y/n)' After he sign the sentence, our order arrived and I grabbed my smoothie. Taking a sip and coughing a bit because of how fast I took a sip and it was freaking cold! Jake snorted. I glared at him and took another sip as I picked up the strawberry.

Eating it as I took another sip. Jake tapped my arm. I looked at him as I drank the whole cup. The deadline of the mission is 2 days and I forgot to mention that we have to find a book that has an ugly goat on its cover too' Jake signed.

It said to be some "bible" where there is a da-Jakey poo! I've been finding you puddin!" Jake was cutted off by an irritating squeal at the door. I looked back at him to see him was pale and white as a paper. "(Y/n) hide me!" Jake begged. I thought for a moment as I placed a finger on my chin. "Hmmmmmmmm?..." I smiled.

Jake looked at me with confusion and a bit of impatience. "Ugh alright!" I jumped out of my seat and grabbed him as we ran towards another door where it led towards an alley. We head towards a fire exit and climbed up a building. As I reached the top, I looked behind to see him not here.

Scratching the back of my head and made an imaginary sweat drop when I saw him being in gulf with smooches by his admirer. I jumped off the building with ease and kicked her off that's sends her flying towards an opened trash can. She fell in it as it closed. Hearing Jake sighed, I turn around.

"Why was she still after you?" I asked and can't help but giggle at how many kiss marks was on his face and even his clothes have some. "I don't know. I've already tried many times to kill her but she survived everything!" Jake stressed out.

"Well not my problem~" I teasingly cooed and earned a punch on the arm. "Ow, sorry!" I fake whined as he huffed. "I'll get some tissues, be right back!" I ran back inside the café as I hurriedly asked the desk for tissues. They gladly nodded and gave me a stack of it, and afterwards they gave me a small cup of strawberries. I thanked them.

"That stunt you did there was awesome and you're really fast!" Dave exclaimed happily. Yeah, he's the one who gave me the strawberries and it was on the house. He looked like a teenager too. "Thanks kid and you're awesome yourself. Thanks for the strawberries!" As I back up, I ran outside and gave Jake the tissues. He thanked me and began.
