Reaya p.o.v. "This is my teenage daughter Reaya" my mother gesturing me towards the two friendly people. "Nice to meet you both" I said in a stern voice both shaking their hands. "Are you excited about moving here to New Jersey? said Melinda cheerfully. "I erm...." Before I could say another word my mother interrupted "You know teenagers and how they are, not being able to be with their friends anymore you know stuff like that". "Yes, well we will leave you two to settle in have a nice day. If you need anything we're right across the road, Come on Melinda" chimed in Jim. My mom closed the door behind us and we started unpacking. We were settling in just fine but problems started to rise at the dinner table. "Melinda brought an apple pie for us" my mom said as she set a plate infront of me. "Well that's nice mom" I said I forced a smile not taking a bite of the pie. She sat down on the other side of the dining room table. "Are you okay sweetie?" she questioned. "Oh yeah why wouldn't I be considering you moved me from a place I could have finally called home" I said back with attitude. "It's for the best sweetie" she replied. "You know what I'm not so hungry anymore, excuse me" with that I slid the plate away and got up and ran straight to my room. "Sweetheart wait..." my mom's voice trailed off. I slammed my door, plopped on the bed and started crying endlessly not wanting to talk to anyone at the time. I hate this why can't things just go back to the way they were before I moved.........
