Chapter 2: A lovely little family

I woke up with my head on a soft surface. While yawning I suddenly realize that I'm not in room or even in my house. I take a look around until my eyes land on the soft surface... I fell asleep on Robin!! 'Take a picture, It'll last longer' came a groggy voice

OMG was I staring? 'I..uhm.. I didn't'

'I'm joking, you know that right?'

just when I was about to answer his questionable stare a cry pierced the air.

'saved by the baby, love' He started to get of the sofa but I stopped him 'you get some rest, I got this'

When I walked into Rolands room he was crying at the top of his lungs. I walked up to his crib. When Roland notices me he instantly stops crying and he stretches his arms above his head for me to pick him up. 'Goodmorning Roland, did you sleep well little munchkin?' I said in my baby voice. Because of my high pitched voice Roland starts to giggle.

'Did you just steal my sons first laugh from me?' a fake hurt voice said from the doorstep.

'Jeezh, Robin don't scare me like that I could've dropped Roland! You doorknob'

'Doorknob?'

'Yeah doorknob, i can't exactly go around cursing around your son can I. But what did you mean with stealing his first laugh?'

'That was his first giggle and I almost missed it' he had an almost sad look in his eyes.

'Oh! I didn't know, I'm sorry'

'Why would you be sorry, you helped me calming down my son when i couldn't and GOD you even made him giggle. I couldn't ask for more. He whisperd. I could feel my cheeks heat up and my eyes started to water. With Roland still save and sound in my arms I walked up to Robin and gave him a one armed hug. When we let go of eachother Robin stood behind me looking over my shoulder to an asleep Roland. I turned around to Robin, not realizing how extremely close he was. He looked at me with an emotion I couldn't describe. His eyes flikkered to my lips and then back to my eyes. We both leaned in. But before I could do something(that I was probably going to regret later) A voice came from the hallway.

'Look at you, a lovely little family'
