Prologue no one’s P.O.V:
Working a summer job isn’t so bad, especially when you get to meet celebrities. I work at the radio station, “Spin Towers,” in London. I get to meet some pretty cool celebrities like, Ellie Goulding, and Cher Lloyd, and even met Ed Sheeran! Ok, well not really “meet” them... I just bring in coffee for everyone in the office. But you've got to admit I get to be in the same room as them, and watch parts of their interviews. But nothing prepared me for what was going to happen when the number one boy band in the world, One Direction, came into Spin Towers for an interview.
Chapter 1
Emily’s P.O.V
Like every day, I walk into my job at Spin Towers, and plop down on the brown couch in the coffee room. Yes, a brown, coffee-bean coloured couch in the coffee room: very funny- haha. I turn on the coffee machine and lay down, popping my ear buds in, and begin listening to my favourite band- One Direction. A small smile covers my face as Louis, the guy who I fancy in the band, begins singing...
“Emily, hey Emily!”
“Huh? Oh I’m sorry Katherine!” I say pulling the head phones out of my ears.
“It’s fine dear,” she replies; “I just need you to bring these letters down to the mail room.”
“Sure thing,” I say, taking the envelopes from her jogging towards the mail room.
“After you're done, come down to the employee conference room: there’s a big announcement today that I think you will enjoy.” Katherine yells as I run down the corridor.
A big announcement…I wonder what that will be about? I think to myself as I walk down the cement steps to the mail room. I drop the letters in the basket and put my earphones back in. What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction starts playing and I immediately start dancing. I danced all the way back up stairs to the conference room.
I walk in and take a seat next to the window, since these announcements are usually pretty boring and I don’t really listen. I just stare out the window for a little while until I hear Katherine say “…and our guests this week will be One Direction!” As my head snaps towards her, she smirks.
“Did you just say what I thought you said...?” I accidentally shout.
Katherine replies with only a smile and I slight nod.
I just sit there, gob smacked with my mouth wide open until one of my co-workers begins to talk to me. “Well, Em, it looks like you’re going to finally meet that so called husband of yours!” I knew I should've replied to them, but I just couldn’t believe that I was going to meet One Direction.
