"What was that all about?" Chaeyoung asked.

"I don't know, she just left crying..." Jisoo replied.

"That's so weird. Where would she go at eleven? Everyone would be asleep," Lisa said in a confused voice.

Chaeyoung walked in front of them facing forwards to see the coffee shop. "Well, I think that we shouldn't worry. Let's get our coffee."

No one argued, so they walked into the coffee shop and sat in the booth they always sat in. They carried on with their normal conversations on what happened for them last night. Jisoo wasn't paying attention though, she just looked at an attractive girl ordering a drink and sitting in the booth behind her.

Jisoo took a closer look at the girl. She had long, light brown hair and brown eyes. Jisoo was about to talk to her, until she realized who it was. Jennie Kim.

"Jisoo? EARTH TO JISOO!" Chaeyoung said, waving her hand in Jisoo's face.

"Wha- What?" Jisoo responded, blinking back into reality.

Lisa rolled her eyes, while Chaeyoung facepalmed.

"Who were you staring at?" Chaeyoung asked.

"N-No one..."

"Are you sure it isn't the person who just took a seat behind us?" Lisa asked.

"O- Of course not!"

"Uh-huh, sure," Chaeyoung said in a sarcastic tone.

They continued with a new conversation, but Jisoo still doesn't pay attention, and instead, she listens to Jennie's conversation.

"Yeah, I know," Jennie spoke, but it barely sounded like her. She was crying while spoke.

"Good," Another voice sounded. This voice was kind, extremely calm, and happy.

Jennie got up, wiped her tears, and left. The other person had dark, black hair, and went outside.

"What was that about?" Jisoo accidentally spoke aloud.

"What was what about?" Lisa asked.

"N- Nothing!"

"Fine, but you can tell us anything," Chaeyoung responded.

On the way back to the high school dorms, everyone was completely silent. Jisoo was planning on asking Jennie about what she heard, even though Jennie would never tell. Jisoo was also only slightly worried that Jennie would do what she did just the day before.

***

"W-Why would I tell you even if  it was t-true?" Jennie was taken aback. "I-It wasn't me!"

Jisoo sighed, "I know it was you, I've known you since your 6th grade! Back before..."

Jennie muttered something under her breath, while a tear fell.

Jisoo was taken to all the memories before they went to high school.

***

"Jisoo!" A much younger Jennie ran and hugged Jisoo.

"Nya~!" Jisoo, who was caught up in her book, fell to the ground. Jennie laughed, while Jisoo rolled her eyes.

"Hey, what book are you reading?" Jennie pointed curiously to Jisoo's book.

"Forgotten Memories. It's about someone who woke up one day, and forgot everything," Jisoo says nonchalantly.

"Can I read it next?" Jennie says excitedly.

"Sure," Jisoo started reading again. Now looking back, Jisoo wished she would have payed more attention to Jennie, but younger Jisoo didn't know that Jennie would leave her in the end.

***

"Jisoo, whatever happens, know that I'll always love you..." Jennie cried, literally.

"What do you mean?"

"I'll always love you, no matter what..."

"I love you too..."

That was the last conversation they had, before Jennie went to be a freshman, and before Jennie started bullying Jisoo.

***

Jisoo took Jennie's hand.

"W-What?"

Jennie was pulled outside, to the spot Jennie had taken Jisoo the day before. Once the got there and sat down, Jisoo took Jennie's hair and put it behind her ear.

"You told me that no matter what, you would always love me," Jisoo said calmly.

"I-I don't remember t-that..." Jennie obviously lied.

"I do," Jisoo spoke unnervingly calmly.
