Bonus story!: There Are Lazy Days Too
The gates open and in walk the Night Class.
Yuuki’s POV:
“Welcome back, Night Class.” I say. “Anything unusual happen?” Kaname asks me. “No, not tonight. It was very quiet.” I say smiling. “I see…that’s good.” Kaname says as he walks away. “Uhm…Kaname…” I start to say as he looks back at me. How was your night? I want to have a nice casual chat with him. But I get too nervous. “Um…good night Kaname.” I say instead. Kaname smiles at me and walks away. There is a power in his smile…it almost pulls me in… The gates close and Zero sighs very loudly. “AH!” I say surprised as Zero walks away. “Hey wait up! I didn’t forget my job!” I say running after him. “Wait Zero!” I say. ‘Yuuki wake up!” Yori says. ‘I just got into bed.” I say. ‘But today’s breakfast…is your favorite—the ginger stir-fry set. You’ll miss it.” Yori says sitting by my bed. I jump out of bed and get dressed. ‘Wait for me Yori!” I say not noticing she was still in the room. “Watch out you’ll fall.” Yori warns me. “Ouch!” I say running into the door. ‘I can’t believe you ran into the door…” Yori says.
Zero’s POV:
I muck out Lily’s stall as a groom walks in the stable. “I’m glad you’re here. Lily’s in a bad mood today. Her personality is really the problem. Well she likes you. Your Lily’s boyfriend.” He tells me. “I used to nurse her when she was a foal.” I say as Lily rubbed up against me. Then she chomps on my hair and my head. “Ok ok you want to be brushed! Don’t eat my hair! I’ll go bald.” I tell her. “She’s good now. I guess she can be ridden tomorrow in the riding lesson. You haven’t been here for a while. Did something happen?” The groom asks me as he walks out the barn. I brush Lily. “You’re not scared of me?” I ask her. She looks me in the eye and chews my hair again. “You’re strange…just like me.” I tell her. I walk in the classroom as the teacher yells at a sleeping Yuuki. I yawn and the teacher hears me. “You’re late Kiriyu!” He yells at me. “Oops.” I say. “I can’t take it anymore! Cross, Kiriyu! You have detention until late today. I don’t care about your Discipline Committee duties!” He yelled at us. “Open your books! You can’t leave till you’ve learned everything we did in class!” The teacher yells at us. "What should we do? We must stay here for now.” Yuuki asks me. “It is our fault we’re here.” I say. I can hear the girls around the gate. It’s getting dark now. “Zero this is bad. The Night Class will be leaving to go to class now.” Yuuki tells me. “No talking!” The teacher yells at her. I got up and walk to the door. It was pad locked. “It’s pad locked. When did…?” I ask. “Hah! If you want to leave finish all of your work. Today I will make you serious students, like how prefects should be! It’s the chairman’s fault for putting you students like you on the Disciplinary Committee! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!” The teacher says. “He’s lost it.” Yuuki says. As he keeps laughing I kick the door open.
Day and Night Class:
The Day Class girls scream like crazy as the gates open. “What’s going on where are the Guardians?” Hanabusa says as he is surrounded by screaming girls. One girl falls right in front of Kaname. He helps her up. “Step back! You brats have no manners at all!” Ruka yells at the crowd of girls. “Are you ok?” Kaname asks the girl. “…Yes…” She says as she blushes. Ruka pushes her away from Kaname. “Don’t you dare touch him!” Ruka yells at her. The girls go silent. “Ruka…” Kaname says moving her aside. “Ladies…you must stop making a fuss. I’m afraid you might get hurt.” Kaname tells them. Yuuki comes running in blowing her whistle. “Everyone calm down! There, step back!” Yuuki says pushing them away. “We do need the Disciplinary Committee. They help keep things peaceful.” Takuma says. “You are right. Thank you…Miss Prefect.” Kaname tells Yuuki. “No problem!” Yuuki says waving to him.
